@webmaster: Have a phone call will get me no advantage with my bad English

I was in contact with Powerstation and Turbodynamics, they told me that's a Garrett compressor wheel and housing, Garrett BB core and IHI twinscroll hotside. Price is around 1500+VAT for the turbo only (what means VAT in UK?) But they doesn't answer me any more for pic's and real spoolup and fullboost @which rpm questions.

I heard also that's needed to use a bigger inlet pipe because of the Garrett compressor housing => doesn't know if a Perrin 3'' will fit?

Any pictures from this turbo will help me a lot.

Regards from Switzerland
Adrian

PS: I've had a twinscroll converted GC8 and now I'm searching an upgrade for my VF37 on EU spec STI MY05 (AVO twinscrolls still aren't released, PE1825 no more produced? and the new HKS twinscrolls are rare)

HKS Twinsroll units can be bought from Japanparts.com.

VAT is tax in our country and is charged at 17.5% of the oringinal price. So £1500+VAT would be £1500 + £262.50. So £1762.50 in total.

Have you contacted Turbo Dynamics directly to see if they would be willing to take your turbo in an exchange program? Could help to lower the overall cost.

Failing that you could try a VF42 turbo. I may be planning on getting one in the near future. Many IHI suppliers I tried could not source one, even Roger Clark Motorsport could not get one, but I have it on good authority after a lot of searching that AVO Turboworld can get you one, for what would equate to around £1000 with the current exchange rate of the British Pound against the American Dollar.
