When it finally came down to it, I found I couldn't be arsed to watch it.

no. have you ever seen a person with white skin? I am have coloured skin.
and in India they see many different races that we dont. Banlas etc are treated like dirt.

Yes, she looked extremely contrite. Appeared somewhat "stage managed", even though I doubt Jade has the intellect to rehearse lines !

I would have thought Jade was given a very quick brief on how she needed to act and what she needed to say. Personnally i expected her to explain why she didn't like Shilpa, the fingers in food,oxo cube rows etc and explain it as in "I didn't like this person because..." rather than completely act as if she was the only guilty party.
Although Jade obviously backed down and apologised for remarks made and came forward and admitted what she had said about Shilpa popadom there wasn't an ounce of regret or any attempt to apologise from Shilpa.
What people fail to realise is Jade's interviews and appearances will still be more valuable and create more media coverage than when Shilpa comes out even if she wins. Jade came 3rd last time yet has kept public interest for 4 yrs. Nobody really wanted to hear from Kate the winner the media were more interested in Jade and this time is exactly the same.
Oh and brace yourself for the inevitable "We love each other really" in your daily rag within the next few weeks with Shilpa and Jade arm in arm.
Whats funny really is Jade has been dropped by the anti-bullying lobby but has probably done more for anti-bullying then anyone else has for years.
Apparently now C4 is going to edit the show to make you feel if you don't vote Shilpa to win then you are racist.

I don't understand why anyone would get upset by anyone calling Shilpa "Shilpa Popadom"? Would the country be brought to its knees by someone referring to "Diarmuid Potato" or "Ainsley Plantain"?

I have said all along, I do not believe there is a racist issure here. But I do believe Shilpa has been bullied by the thickest person on the planet. Jade is a vegetable

For those of you that want to see racism. Fly to Bombay etc and see how the rich indians treat the poor.
when I lasted stayed there with a friends rich family. I was told off for talking to one of the drivers kids (wanted to know about English cars !) And the kid was told to " F*** Off" by the lady whe where staying with. She said people like us should not talk to these lower casts. I packed and left ,after telling her a few things or two! One of the most racist places I have visited. Thailand been one of the others. Dubai/Saudi been the worst.

I had a similar experience working near Delhi last year, there was a bit of a lull while we were waiting for the sparkies to get their fingers out, so I spent the time teaching my two allocated labourers some basic English, to help them understand what I wanted. crisp , most have never ever seen real racism. This country has gone down on its knees over this stupid issue and looks pathetic.
These people should go out further than Ibiza and see what the real world is about. The Black white racism debate is small fry compared to other races and nationalities racial issues.

Yes I did. Lots of racial slurs there as well as incitement to kill and main, not to mention sexism and just about every other ism going. Sadly as this was mostly old ginger bearded extremists of Asian appearance the phone lines of CH4 won't be jammed.
