How to avoid speeding fines?

@Pete: Unfortunately there are a couple of flaws in your suggestion.
1. The speed limits are not always clearly or legally posted. Therefore it is impossible to determine what speed "not speeding" is. Unless you are advocating driving everywhere at 20mph just in case
2. The authorities themselves are not above putting a camera set to detect cars travelling at below the posted limit. There have been several cases of cameras set to 50mph when the limit is 70mph. In this 'guilty until proven innocent' age you could still end up with points and a fine.

1. My Sat Nav tells me what the speed limit is - if I don't know I shouldn't be on the road ........ and niether should YOU!
2. Like to see evidence of this!! You are saying that you will be prosecuted doing 50 in a 70?? What utter bollox!
