Do you not know of the hundreds of years of the horrors of the Afro Caribbean slave trade, later followed by apartheid and US segregatiom? How abouit the plundering and pillaging of the British Empire - especially the Raj in India. When did the Indians ever come to Britain and use their army to murder over a 100 Brits [Google massacre of Amritsar maybe] in one go let alone all the other instances and events of racially biased discrimination and killings.
It seems unlikely that a person such as Shilpa would ever call you 'white trash'. Too dignified, intelligent and doesnt base views on prejudice.

So what if it funded some estates in the UK. It also contributed to virtually every large empire the world has ever seen. No need to single out the British. We've moved on and realised it's wrong - unlike a large proportion of Africa, Asia, Arabia and South America.
In fact I'd be 100% sure that you consume products that are manufactured by slaves, therefore contributing to people getting rich off them.

But the fact remains that many other communities, including India, are far more intolerant and racist than the British. Or would you deny the existence and opinions of India's 160 million untouchables?

However if you add Islam to the mix I might consider some of its followers to be the most racist [and sexist] there is. After all, they wish us death rather than just dabbling in some simple common or garden race/class one-upmanship...

im so happy shilpa won, i woz jumping and dancing and so glad jermaine came 2nd followed by the face lol brilliant

u want us tae integrate intae trash like jade, danielle and jo lol nae chance
we r humans not animals
just look at dirk even an american and how different tae the uk trash , its amazing, what has britain become, fart , burping and talking aboot booz and ********, is that all theirs tae life lol im so glad im scottish

By decent, I'm an Indian (Sikh) and was born and raised in Kenya, 3rd generation. My friends come from all back grounds, white, black, indian, pakistani etc. etc. I've lived in Africa all my life but found out what racism really is when I moved here to the UK. You can only truly understand racism when you're at the receiving end of it............period.
Have nothing against "white" people but you should understand what people subject to racism go thru'

And yeah , Channel 4 picked the scum of British Society for their TV show and therefore succeeded in portraying us as scum. Hardly empirical evidence !
