I wouldn't know to be honest, I haven't been in a Bangkok prison.
However, it doesn't seem to stop people offending though does it?
There seems to be this illusion that making prisons hell on earth (they aren't that far off from it at the moment) will automatically stop all crime. It won't.
To stop crime, you need to tackle the issues that drive people to crime in the first place.

The usual excuse is lack of opportunity but we raise money for schools in africa so that people can be better educated and work their way out of poverty.
Everyone in this country gets a chance at school, some take it, some don't and some people are plain idle and will never contribute a thing except misery to other people- like junkies claiming its all someone else's fault. The causes of crime are the fault of the person commiting it, no one else.

close all travel for 6 months(commission planes/ferrys to transport the following)
return any non native brit whos upto 5 generations back . (born hear dont count)
then close half the prisons(wouldent need them)
put the saved money into education/nhs.
pull out of that stupid war(save even more money)
start to re introduce extreamly small numbers of non brits for there assets only, i mean only.
pull out of brussels.
happy days.
about as real as pete brynts world eh?

I'm an Inserting line operator and also a fully trained Finishing line operator. I actually worked with Paul for several months and he trained me up on the Finishing equipment. How are they doing there? Think he really wanted the move as the plant was literally 5 mins walk for him.

Oh - A major paper (or papers) were printed there (maybe the Express?) and the Independent was based nearby although that clearly doesn't mean it was printed there too!
