Actually no Muslims were arrested at all. There is a troupe of Asian actors that are specially trained to act as suspects. They tour the country getting ready for the next police bust and then are arrested and silently released.

Look people all I am saying is that it is no surprise that people are shocked when a member of their local community turns out to be a terrorist or whatever regardless of race or creed. The media who are primarily interested in fuelling the anti Muslim feeling in this country as it makes for good copy and sells news then do their utmost to find the best soundbites to suit their agenda. Yes of course there will be those claimning they are innocent just as there is in Northern Ireland for instance, but if you all believe the whole of the Muslim community is shielding known terrorists on a daily basis then I despair.
Anyway remember Forest Gate, they were innocent (apart from the kidide **** of course
) I am not an extremist sympathiser, but surely some of you can see the media are manipulating these sort of things somewhat to suit their own and probably the government's agenda.
Remember ID cards and GPS road charging systems are just around the corner, what better way to get them past the populous than on the back of a bit of terrorism hysteria.

It happened during the N-Ireland issue. many times things happened that where down to the English. Thats in the Uk and Northern Ireland . Wouldnt put anything past this Goverment. Dont trust anything you hear these days. "The game" is in play.

I have to say that is totally the wrong thing to do. It gives the terrorists a heaven sent excuse and because it is morally wrong it brings the perpetrators right down to the level of the fanatics.
If this is a true story about the kidnap and murder plan, it is horrifying and as Iwan said, it could spread to anybody as a hostage. I keep thinking of Ken Bigley and the truly awful way he had to endure his imprisonment and eventually the most awful death. There is no way that he deserved that.
We had a statesman once who has turned out to be a pretty accurate prophet!

I agree, the media are playing a big part in all this.....
Which makes it even more important that Muslim leaders are proactive in making a stand against extremism. It is their religion that these scumbags are undermining afterall!
