How about we take the Eurotunnel. Way faster than ferries, we'd probably save an 60-90 mins on journey times.
Thur 14/6 Folkestone-Calais pre 6am is £44
Sun 17/6 Calais-Folkestone between 10pm and midnight is £44
Mon 18/6 Calais-Folkestone between 8am and 2pm is £57
Total for Sunday return: £88
Total for Monday return: £101
I really like the idea of this. Drive on, drive off and its only 35 mins to cross the Chunnel. Well worth an extra 30 quid over the ferry in my book.
Additionally the Eurotunnel departs at least every half hour. Less waiting around!
What do you think?

How about 05.50 for the outbound journey and 13.50 for the homebound crossing on the Monday?? £103 through ferryoffers.co.uk
Although travelling at 16.20 on the way back still comes out at the same price.

Given that about 3/4 of people have agreed to going through the tunnel I'd say that is decided. I will put a separate reply below with these times and a prompt for people to book direct.

If we come back on the 13.50 we have to be there to check in at 13.20. Shouldn't be a problem and we get back to Blighty earlier than when we leave France!!
