Well, yes, thats what I did - rewired the bright switch to the heated mirror harness.

The mirrors are the same as the Foresters, the wiring is there, all it needs is a 12v feed - the bright switch is a great way to supply that power.

I think everyone does that mod as a first requirement though, don't they?

where did you source the Forrester mirrors from and how much were they? (if you don't mind me asking?)
Or are you saying that the MY2000 mirrors are ready to heat and just need a 12v feed.
Sorry for appearing dumb but I'd really like to get mine sorted.

Question

Can anyone confirm whether or not the wires required run behind the bright switch ................... at my age I have forgotten what I did all those years ago!
