£80? How do they work that that out then?

And no, we'll not believe you if you try telling us it's a tenner an inch!

I honestly think that if I were a police officer, I wouldn't have the cheek to fine someone for having a wizz.
Maybe a polite 'come on m8, hurry up and be on your way.'. Besides, I wouldn't want the guy to turn around and **** on my nice shiney uniform.

ask for the evidence to be supplied. tell the courts the police where wrong and in fact you where "throwing one off the wrist" offer to demonstrate in the court. so the charges are incorrect.

However, you are wrong on the above. You do not have a right to go straight to crown court. You have to attend magistrates court. If you are found guilty at magistrates you will then be fined even more plus the court costs. You can appeal, then it will be sent to crown court for the hearing.
As for the evidence. The rear or our copy of the ticket acts as a S.9 (witness statement) and the officer will right the circumstances down on this. It will also give details of a co-oberating officer who then puts his evidence in his note book. The officers will attend both magistrates and crown court to give evidence.
As for the offence of peeing in a bush, i agree it is minor, however, if you happen to walk along the road with your Mrs or a close female relative or friend how would you feel seeing a bloke stood with his dick out pissing? Not judging you, just a thought

Sorry mate, that will mean exposure which carries a higher fine. You admit it in court (big mistake automatically guilty) CPS lay a further charge on you in court. All above board and correct. Ends in another fine...

I'd like to disagree, but can't as it's true!
We are brow beaten everyday to get more detections, it's so demoralising!
They have taken away alot of our discretion due to not enough **** ant detections for very low level offences.
The bosses sit in their ****ty big offices while we cop the flack of everyone!
I'm not into politics, but we are told it's the goverment putting pressure on the Chief Constables to get more detections to show the goverments objectives are working

is urinating in public even an offence...? i thought it was a public decency issue and im sure if you take reasonable steps not to expose your 'person', and are discreet, youre not committing an offence...?!?

If anyone here is on water tablets (such as Bendrofluazide) You are the only people to appreciate the farce this country is on clamping down on public urination when:

THERE ARE NO PUBLIC TOILETS ANYMORE!

Your thinking of the very old Police and Town Clauses Act 1800 and something

Exposure law has changed when the new sexual offences act came in a year or two ago.

Might seem like a daft question, but why don't people 'go' before they leave the pub/friends to head off home?

People do "go" before leaving, generally... Alcohol tends to mean you want to go again though...

Personally, I've no problem with rushing behind some dark, secluded bushes and having a quick slash. If it's humanly possible, I'll try and hold on until I reach home or a mate's house. Sometimes you just gotta go.

I feel there is a level of decency involved. slashing over a shop front or in someone's doorway shouldn't be permitted/condoned.
