On that 'you tube' video, he lists the 4 door saloon cars that are faster than it.....He doesn't mention the impreza, surely the P1 and countless Evos are quicker than this????
Tha only reason it is faster than an M5 is cos the M5 is restricted right???
Also, on the VXR website, the stats for the Vectra 0-60 times say 6.1 secs, am I mistaken or is this slower than all impreza turbos??????

Below is part of a newpaper report regarding a new police car GMP have purchased to tackle anti social driving behaviour.
"It boasts a 2.8-litre, V6 engine, which can dispatch zero-60 mph in around six seconds, and can reach a top speed of 155 mph. It is driven only by officers specially trained in high speed chases, who dubbed it an Imprezza beater" (Not my spelling of Impreza but the reporter)
Now I know this police car will be quick especially on a straight road but do they really think they would be able to keep up on twisty roads?
Also why single it out as an Impreza beater? Surely this is tarnishing all Impreza drivers with the same brush!! Is this again demostrating how arrogant of our police force is.

It's pathetic how the powers that be would rather be seen to be doing the right thing than actually doing it!!!

Again, the 0-60 is largely irrelevant, all is shows is that the impreza is good from a standstill, however once moving (as I said earlier in thread) I bet the Vectra may have the edge, whichever a scote in a scoob isn't gonna outrun a trained police driver in one of these things!
