I really enjoyed it tonight. I got quite scared for them in the petrol station. I don't think that was scripted at all.
I don't often actually laugh out loud while watching many programmes, but that was pure class. I think the 3 of them work so well together.
I did think that the PC brigade will give them a right bashing though!

same as if they had driven through parts of wales and the North east!!
but what a better example of the true America. How they have left New Orleans is terrible. Top gear didnt show 1% of the mess.
maybe for some of us who have travelled INSIDE (Not florida !) America we have seen the sheer poverty. most tend to think its a rich country !!

I'ved toured across the states including the deep south; There are good and bad places all across the states but they didn't half choose some dodgy towns
Hasn't Bush sorted the clean up on New Orleans yet; If it were San Francisco (again) they'd have it cleaned up by now

there are poor places....not co much poor but raural.... very country, that is all these people know.... its really sad.... go north though it gets better.... there are places like that in all countrys.

Theres some nice towns down south. Although only in the south can you legally make whisky such Jack Daniel's but be illegal to drink it (Lynchburg TN; dry county
)

I drove the "Blue ridge park way" and we stayed in a sht hole called gatlingburg !! What a bunch of dumb people . All eating peanuts soaked in alcohol (Good !) It amazes me how diverse America is It isnt a single country anymore ... its like europe !!

he has a point. Mr patel and leroy winston are going to feel well iffy in some of these places.They are something else when it comes to racist remarks ! I once stayed in a motel (Lucky 8 ??) and 4 people got shot that night in the car park !! They are scared of outsiders. Their brains start to melt when confronted with foreigners !

the south is good for things, like getting cheap guns, alch. and tobacco.
girls are hot in the clubs too.... and they will take you home to "momma"and cook you some fried chicken too (but like here, some of them have some messed up teeth) sorry that was uncalled for

The Problem with America is that its divided into states, so doesn't operate like a normal country. Each state having its own version of the law etc. It seems that one state doesn't give a **** about another.
Topgear has evolved from purely a car show, to an entertainment/car show. Its not a bad thing!
