Didn't you have a problem getting it on a low loader?

******* gorgeous car......

ads00.....I was going to go the last mile and get the 2.5 and tdo520g turbo but then I realised it be the same car, with a bit more power. Plus you'd never get that money back.....

good luck on making your decision....give Powergains a call

ignore davyboy..he's got nothing constructive to say....

I've nothing constructive to say.....of course what you mean to say is, Davyboy doesn't agree with me, so I'm going to put my fingers in my ears and go la la la la.

I look forward to reading your drivel when the honeymoon period is over.

Davyboy, I think it's the other way round...all you've managed to say is they're not reliable track cars.....or "thats why they're not used as track cars" which is the exact same thing.....

luckly I can hold my own in a discussion......is the la la la thing what you do??

BACK ON TOPIC

Go with rex....and forget you're an "all destroying subaru driver"

I'm not getting touchy, I'm laughing at you for saying dumb stuff <--- you like that one don't you.

Oh the ****** sign at the PC how tough you are, what next.....? limp wrist at the screen, and saying "oooh get you"?

Limp wrist?
we're not all track bandits like you honey.....
I'd do it to your face but you're probably used to it....."No, they're not waving at you davy......"

Stop trying to cover up your own inablilities to hold a conversation by trying to focus on me....it's quite sad really. I've added more than, "they're not used on tracks"
Can't ask a question on scoobynet without some single brain-celled moron adding anything to a genuine question asked.....shame.

anyway....

Clearly we disagree, thats fine, thats why we are in a discussion forum. It would appear that we are not allowed to disagree with you, and if anyone dares to disagree with you, it's dismissed it as rubbish.

I think their unreliable, you don't lets leave it that.

I do like the front lights though......the girls at Mcdonalds drive in will love to see you work the lights....and then they can put their milshakes no the meccano spoiler.

I've actually provided a link with some useful info on....you probably ignored that as fiction.

It appears that davvey is trying to wind everyone up and hijack the post for an aurgument.

This is not constructive and the post has been very useful up until now.

Anyway - without resorting to insults.......

Do you really think the MRC is the best place to go for advice? People who own certain marques of car seem to be very biased towards it.

I think places like that are great for overall advice on parts, mods, etc, but not for an unbiased view on ownership. No doubt you will find lots of people saying, they are expensive to run, but it's worth it.

Thanks Ive loved it, I wanted one for years and like many been put off by cost and the dreaded engine rebuild stories, in the end I thought **** it, I'll always regret it if I dont own one.

It took me months of trying to find the right one and in the end got what I wanted, it cost me nothing but fuel and service intervals for the first 18 months before I blew a water seal and now its a full engine rebuild with 2 new rotor housings a friend is doing the rebuild for free but its still costing £1500 in parts alone but it'll be back on the road next month after spending 6 months without moving.

The car is a dream to drive and I dont think I'll drive anything nicer. few relatively simple mods and its at 330bhp and it is ALOT quicker than the Impreza ever was.

My mates got a rex and its been dyno'd at 312bhp at the wheels. When we've been to brunters there is nothing at all between us right up to 140mph, thats when he starts pulling away all the way to 175mph. This happens even from a rolling start. My car is an almost standard version 2 wrx 260bhp. On the road there is still nothing between us even on the twistys, the only advantage I have is I can accelerate off a roundabout and gain a decent distance from him while he's still struggling for grip.
In my opinion rex's are awesome cars but knowing how much my mates has cost him over the years has put my off getting one.
