I've bought her an iPod Nano, and I've booked a table for us, my mate and his missus at a decent Thai restaurant.
Result - I can have my decent iPod back and she won't moan, plus I can take all the $hit like R&B off it again. I can also have a good chat with my mate, a nice meal, and the birds can natter away and be all happy that we made an effort.

agree with you there and so does the GF. Last Friday had a meal and went to the Theatre, stayed in a hotel overlooking Tower Bridge, Valentines we'll be having a nice meal at home and some wine. We wont be paying for an overpriced Valentines special anything.

Me and my missus are doing nothing. If we want to do something romantic, we do. We don't wait for a commercial day just so other people can cash in and act like sheep. If you fancy doing something nice for your partner, just do it, don't wait for valentine's day
