I agree that it's too commercial but as long as you don't subscribe to the notion that you should be spending crap loads on heart shaped tat and teddys and instead use the occasion as an excuse to spend some time together without distraction then it's great.

Well I have 2 options to consider for tomorrow night.
#1: Pick my (rather gorgeous) lady up early, fine restaurant, good food, good conversation, drink fizz, kiss and cuddle in taxi home, back to hers or mine, early to bed, bit more fizz, late night.
#2: Wallop utility room in white satin emulsion.

BTW FFS people, everone knows that Valentines day has nothing to do with established couples!!! I'ts just an opportunity for singles blokes and gals to let an object of their affection know that......well, the utility room needs a coat of emulsion!! (As Olly would say)
