Well thats not a bad plan. Can I suggest that if you can get an N95 as an upgrade, get it. Maybe even wait another month so you can get one.
It'll be worth loads on a certain auction site and if its on orange, let me know

Orange are often last to release handsets on their networks.... at least the top end ones. They also butcher the firmware removing features which often mean you need to use their services which cost you more.

*Update*
Well, it's upgrade time
Downside?
The N95 will cost me £280 And tbh, mixed reviews slagging off the usual slowness of the current Nokias.....
They've offered me a free W850 or K800i..... but I'm not sure.....
Kinda had the wind blown out of my sails with the N95 price.
Not changing my contract, as mine's too good Probably half the reason why the upgrade price is so much
Scuppered
The S/Ericssons are now old phones - not sure I want one
Bugger.
Suggestions?

It could be THE best phone on the planet, but I'm sure as hell not paying £280 for a smegging upgrade!!
Plus I don't see it making any sense in getting a K800/W850 as the contract is a 18month job. These phones are already a bit long in the tooth.
There doesn't seem to be much out there

Jees Dan alot of contracts now are offerign it for 100ish.
Mind you I'm looking now as well, mines duie for renewal in the next few months and there is noting out as yet that grabs me.
Haven't been impressed with the N95's I've seen and I don't need a gps phone. Likewise I don't need a phone thats sodding mp3 player or camera
I need bluetooth and a colour screen, wifi would be nice though.
Hopefully the iPhone will be out when I do renew or I'm stumped, N93i looks intresting though and by all acounts will be able to recieve tv progs
Oh and above all needs to work with a Mac.

I've had my contract for 15 months (of my 18 month contract - able to upgrade now)
Might go back to them and say that the choices they've offered me for a free upgrade are too old to even contemplate. Now I've seen the new 810, I can't stand the awful-looking keypad!!
I do have one other option - personally, I'm tied to Voda because of my internet package (+ in all fairness, I've been VERY happy with the service), so my "contract" could stay as is and then just not renew the contract.
Wifey on the other hand, I could get her to leave Voda, and take out a new contract - getting an N95. She gets to use her existing phone (I bought her a new phone anyway.
Either way, I think it's time for a proper chat with Voda. But by the looks of it, ALL the phones are cr@p !!!
