Hold on, you're wandering off topic. Impreza 2.0RX is costing me just over £12k on the road with side airbags and met paint. I don't want WRX (insurance, running costs, plus having to leave it in a non-too-good city centre area a lot of the time). I don't want a SEAT either - no chance.

Anyone else shed any light on the spec of Maltese non-turbo cars?

Auto air-con is where you set the temperature and basically it 'looks after itself' and maintains that temp without you needing to fiddle with the controls. I think its the same as 'climate control', but by another name.

Well all brands new website list them as the 2007 model with these features fitted so you may well get them, when do you collect?

Well, I want side airbags and Garnet Red paint, so they had to do a factory order - given me a delivery date in June - which fits my personal circumstances OK, so I've gone for it.
I am not confident that what they list is actually correct. For example they listed side airbags, but it wasn't until I probed them hard that they 'remembered' that side airbags were not standard and were a factory option. I think, like most car salesmen, they don't have much of an eye for the detail, they just want a sale.

Does you car from Motorpoint have the HID lights and washers then??

No washer so I presume no HID lights, however the air conditioning controls look exactly same as the picture on subaru.com.mt website here

http://www.subaru-globalws.com/s028/...002290_img.jpg

The front seat designed have the split between your legs.

Still none the wiser if its an 06 or an 07 though

Oh, and fuel says 95 ron so I presume its standard unleaded for a Sport engine, does anyone run any different?

Take a look at date markings on hoses, radiator, seat belt tags etc etc. '07 model year production commenced in November '06 - so that might give you some idea.
