BBC NEWS | South Asia | Madrassas hit by sex abuse claims
A Pakistani minister has revealed hundreds of cases of alleged child sex abuse at Islamic schools, or madrassas.
There were 500 complaints this year of abuse allegedly committed by clerics, Aamer Liaquat Hussain, a minister in the religious affairs department, said.
That compares with 2,000 last year, but as yet there have been no successful prosecutions, Mr Hussain told the BBC.
The minister's revelations have sparked death threats and infuriated some religious political leaders.
Mr Hussain said he had received death threats from clerics, but that he had done his job and his conscience was clear
A lack of morals and family values isn't only a western problem, then.
Seriously though, it is said that puberty is starting increasingly earlier - by around 6 months every decade.

... all this bullsh1t aboot muslim oppression in india, huh makes me laff, if that woz the case not a single hindu would have been left in india all would have been muslims, he should thank God it woz muslims who ruled india and not christians lol
and not a single jew would have been alive today if it wasnt of the muslims saving them and taking them tae islamic lands , coz the christians loved the pogroms against jews and slaughtered them and raped their wimmin, muslims stepped in and saved them
and still they plot evil against muslims, ungrateful pr1cks

A new wave of persecution of Christians started in Iran after the election of hard-line conservative president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Since 2005´s election, many Christians – mainly those of Islamic background – have not only been rounded up for harassment, but many have been arrested and beaten. In Uzbekistan, government measures following the suppression of the popular uprising in Andijan led to restrictions in religious freedom for Christians. The level of monitoring of churches and Christians has increased considerably. Violence against Christians in India seems to be on the rise. Christians are coming under increased pressure (in the form of physical attacks, killings, depiction in the media, threats etc.) because of accusations of (alleged) outreach activities. Intolerance and atrocities against minorities are increasing in Bangladesh. A radicalisation is evident among Muslims in the country, where several Christians were murdered in connection with their faith in 2005.

Christians (those with a living faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour - who died to take the punishment that we deserved) do not hate muslims. We love you and want to see you guys getting to heaven to spend eternity with the one true God as well.
We don't have to earn our way to heaven, Jesus has already paid the price. But when we trust in Him, if we love Him we will obey His commands until He comes to take us home.
Amen

I have to say some of the nicest people I have met are Iranian, really nice, genuine people. Would be a disaster for mankind if the US attacks them.

see he didnt wanna die for your sins and he said himself everyone bares their own responsibility
jesus in the quran never died but God saved him from the plans of the evil jews at the time, did u know that and all kids r born free of sin and we believe he woz not God but the messenger and messiah, my lil boys middle name is eesa meaning jesus
![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
no one pays for the sins of others, why would God make an innocent person suffer and def not himself, coz christians say jesus woz God incarnate
so if God forgave adam he wouldnt need tae be born of a virgin and inside the tummy for 9 months and then grow up and be crucified, he should have known at the time if he forgives adam he wont need tae suffer at the end, so it makes satan a partner wae God that God has tae be in hell for 3 days, i dont believe it
in the quran jesus pbuh is nothing like that, he is a holy messiah as the messengers before him and God saved him from the plots of the jews
and he didnt die but woz raised tae heaven

I was sad the day Saddam was hung, I believe he was the only man who could bring stability and peace to Iraq, the country is doomed to suffer for the future because of the lies spread by the Zionist in the US, UK and Israel. He showed more dignity and bravery in those few moments going to the gallows than Bush or Blair have in their entire lives.
the whole new regime is an evil regime a puppet regime for americans and zionist pigs

Decent morals instilled by our parents and common sense are all we need to live by.
And at the end of our lives (if there is a god) what decent god is going to turn us away for living a decent life anyway.

Suresh,
Sorry for the huge error in labelling your 'faith'.![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
I will try not to lower myself to your condescending level. I think I am reasonably well integrated. I am sure a number of SNetters will testify to that.
Please try to answer some of the points put to you. I will try to answer yours.
Of course I can question Moses. I have, whenever I have spotted him doing it, asked him not to resort to abuse, especially of a religious kind. He has always acknowledged this and apologised.
If I said the same to you all I get is defensiveness, like now.
If Moses is genuinely doing damage to Islam, let him carry on, should be no skin off your nose should it?
For one reason or another he appears to be quite popular and have plenty of friends on SN, some of whom I believe used to be 'enemies' of his.
Did it ever occur to you to question those who would judge you by your skin colour alone? You seem to have a big issue with this. Instead of trying to get all those people with brown skin to conform to what those with white skin want, why not try to get people to look past skin altogether?
Perhaps you are taking integration a bit too far?
Did it also ever occur to you that those who wish to hold you and 'your kin' back, want to do exactly that regardless? That they use the general perception of Islam as a convenient excuse for that?
People will label you as they see fit, regardless of the truth, look at this thread for instance?
People's bad actions are just that, not a by product of their skin colour or their religion. Nutcases are nutcases, thats it, I don't care what their justification is.
Yes there are some issues within Islam that are serious and should be discussed and addressed. This is not what I questioned you about though. Your previous post was aimed purely at labelling all Muslims by the actions of the demented minority.
This appears to be how you are treated yourself and you clearly feel justified in doing it to others.
If the Netherlands are giving you a raw deal, perhaps you should look for somewhere else to call home?
All of the Asian friends and family I know don't seem to have those sorts of problems here and are getting on with their lives.
Take it easy mate.
Asif

Just spotted this Asif.
You post does ramble on a bit
, which is why I never bothered to answer. Obviously you think its important, so here are responses to every sentence that ends with a question mark -
Q: If Moses is genuinely doing damage to Islam, let him carry on, should be no skin off your nose should it?
A: If that doesn't bother you then why should anything I type bother you either?
Q: Did it ever occur to you to question those who would judge you by your skin colour alone? You seem to have a big issue with this. Instead of trying to get all those people with brown skin to conform to what those with white skin want, why not try to get people to look past skin altogether?
A: What gets my goat is that because of events stated in post #39 and many others, the general populace tends to assume that people of Asian persuasion are all intolerant, potential terrorists.
Q: Perhaps you are taking integration a bit too far?
A: Perhaps not. What I'm talking about is self-awareness. Are people actually aware that how they project their identity will affect their lives? Idiots insisting they be allowed to wear anything they want because their religion dictates it clearly lack a modicum of self-awareness and should expect to be treated accordingly.
Q: Did it also ever occur to you that those who wish to hold you and 'your kin' back, want to do exactly that regardless? That they use the general perception of Islam as a convenient excuse for that?
A: Not true. I am a reasonably successful seasoned banker these days. I expect those trying to break through now will have a harder time for the reasons given in post #39. If I hear the comments of recruiters from various countries, there is something behind my suspicions and the cause is ..... You fill in the blank.
Q: People will label you as they see fit, regardless of the truth, look at this thread for instance?
A: Do you mean your friend the BANNED
illiterate terrorist's unacceptable insults about another religion (hinduism), even though I am not a hindu? Or was there something else you had in mind?
Q: If the Netherlands are giving you a raw deal, perhaps you should look for somewhere else to call home?
A: This is a great place to raise a family. I am very happy in The Netherlands and never said otherwise.![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Q: Did you ever come back from Rotterdam?
A: Yes I did, thanks. Had a very successful trip, thanks.
Happy?

Some miserable cvnt most likely. Ok Moses can be a bit odd at times but he's a decent bloke really, it's a shame he's been banned IMO.
This forum seems to worship more **** each week that passes, hopefully some tw@t will red card me too so I have an excuse to stop coming here.

, which is why I never bothered to answer. Obviously you think its important, so here are responses to every sentence that ends with a question mark -

Don't be so defensive mate, I feel as though I have clearly identified a few issues for you here.
I had a friend at college who had an English Mother and an Asian Father but was brought up exclusively by his Mother. All the time he used to try his hardest to fit in with English culture, so much so it became almost exaggerated.
Everywhere he went he got called a paki, due to his appearance. However, he had no connection with his Fathers heritage whatsoever, so he found this to be particularly cruel.
His response was to try to become the 'Most English Bloke in the World', referring to other Asians as paki's for instance, screaming the loudest at England games (when I got us all in), drinking the most lager (until he became incontinent) etc.
He was very smart and has become very successful, making lots of money.
He still has problems with his identity however and frankly, I feel sorry for him.
Just thought I would tell you this as what little I know of you reminds me of him.
Not nice being labelled, stereotyped, or pigeon-holed is it? I don't like it either.
So try to be nice and have a reasonable discussion. Get off your high horse or take your own advice and just ignore it.
All the best.
Asif
