I met a few guys in a meeting who where totaly new to the mongering scene. They wanted to try but where scared. so I took them to Edens . They left with a few girls and went to the ST hotel (Playboy) About 3 mins later one of them ran out and off he went down the road !! funny thing is he had no trousers or pants on !!!! and it wasnt dark !! he got 1/2 way down towards the Bumrungrad before he stopped and realized the problem he had !!!!!!!!!
turned out the girls had emptied therir bag of toys on the bed and one had put a "strap on" on and asked him if he was game !!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this bloke took ages to recover !!!

Now that's how I'd imagine it to be, it was scary enough back in 44 flying those Fw Ta 152 whilst being chased by a Spit, but that sounds equally terrifying

But we know the real reason you keep popping up in threads like this - you are obsessed with them. You hold a desire to go to the orient and experience the forbidden pleasures of the East. You've got an inbuilt curiosity and are afraid to reveal your true feelings. There's nothing to be embarassed about, you're only a young teenager that has to discover his path in life. I sense that one day you will become a regular sex tourist.

I never said I visited brothels in this thread. Besides the last time I was in Bangkok as a single man was in 2001.

Believe me there's no 'slavery' about it. Thai's have a completely different, and much better attitude to sex. Pretty much most Thai women are up for it for the night, it's not an up tight big deal over there. I was getting pissed off with some of my mates who wanted to go clubbing, so as they got in a cab I grabbed the attention of a couple of tasty birds walking past, they were on their way to meet their friend but I talked them into hanging out with me. My mates pissed off so I got drunk with these two beautiful Thai's, went out to a 24 pharmacy (no prescription needed for anything in Thailand and they're everywhere) got some viagra and spent the rest of the night banging them senseless. The cost, about £30. Everyone comes out of the deal happy, they get a good night AND get paid....

So... enough about ******. Lets get back to the hotels. I'm confused which areas i should be heading into? Conflicting opinions on here.

Khao San is fully of hippies and santimonious backpackers saving the planet before they go back to work in Daddy's bank. but it's also the only area where that sort of traveller gathers.

Khao San is now a complete dump do yourself a favour and stay somewhere along sukhumvit. Stayed in the president solitaire on soi 11 recently very good rooms marble floors 42 in plasma in room supurb service and was half the price of the sheraton grande where i always used to stay until they started charging silly money. You'll be able to get about much easier via the BTS skytrain and should get it through Manila hotels, Japan hotels, Singapore hotels, China hotels, Australia hotels for a round 30quid per night
P.s The Q bar and the Bed supper club are both on Soi 11 and a rated as 2 of the best bars/clubs in BKK check out Bars, Cocktail Lounges and Cool Pubs around the World for an idea of the class / decour of these 2 places. Both are awesome nights out with some of the top DJs in the world play both venue's on a regular basis !!

PS - you find ****** in every country in the world, however cute you find them...just get over it.

What do you have planned in Bangkok? What sights etc do you want to see? i gather it's not a shopping trip or a spa break?

I haven't researched enough yet to know much about the sights of BK, but i don't fly until the 20th May, thought it would be a good idea to get a hotel booked early though.

Forget Tuk tuks, once for the experience but you are better getter a "meter" taxi, aircon and cheaper than a Tuk tuk. Skytrain and subway are excellent for getting around, but they don't go to a lot of the major sights such as the temples and palaces.

Yes it's def the way to get around especially during rush hours although it doesn't cover the whole city. If you need to go anywhere off the beaten track hale a cab tell him your location and then immediatly ask the driver to put the meter on if he refuses get out and hale another. if you are travelling alone and have a picture phone take a photo of his license on the dashboard in front of you and that should safeguard you from being ripped off. Doing bussiness with the tuk tuk mafia whilst being obligourtary for any self respecting tourist at least once can be a pain in the ***. They are often 4 times the price of an air con metered cab and will try to sell you untold amounts of merchandise often taking you on a mystery tour of said vendors in hope of a small commision of any purchases you make.
Please don't be put off i have always found thailand to be very safe rewarding place to travel !! just a couple of tips to stop you being relieved of to much of your hard earned !!

TOTALLY TRUE!!! But remember this is Thailand and you MUST go on a Tuk Tuk/Samlor the once. You might end up £2 worse off than in an aircon LPG taxi if you are CRAP at bargaining and just revert to Basil Fawlty style shouting in English. Say 'peang' or 'mai mee' when the price is mentioned and you will have half a chance of not coming across as a dumb Brit and are also guaranteed a smile
