How unusual for a thread to deteriorate into a childish playground scrap

In other words, you could have won the Championship yourself then!

Would you take the terms "Limey" or "Kipper" as an ethnic slur?

You are beginning to sound like a common troll!

Come come, there's more than one way to skin a cat. F1 has some very bright engineers and they are expert at going right up to the limit with respect to regs and will exploit any loophole or inconsistency if it can give then a good advantage, especially if difficult to spot

Yeah that's right, they managed to create traction control that incoroporated a device that omitted the inverse sound waves of it working so you couldn't hear it Face it, you just want to believe they cheated and that is about the sum total of your evidence. Could it not just be that Schumacher was a better driver than the rest? Just a thought

For my 2p.

Schumacher is an excellent driver and one of the finest ever.

However, it would not suprise me in the least if the car was running something it should not have been running - or at least something that was traction control in everything but name. Can't call it traction control but as near as dammit is.

Thats the way they work - minor loop holes in the rules.

For the longest time Benetton/Renualt cars get off the line better than everything else.

I didn't say the other williams, I said THAT williams, there was definitely a number one and number two car that year.

Hang on are we talking traction control or launch control? The latter is what gets them off the line faster and has only been noticeable on the Renaults of the last few seasons. As far as I can remember Schumacher hasn't driven for them since 1995, but it's still probably his evil cheating ways that are responsible
