Its pretty, quck and rare but i just dont think its all that ya know. Ive seen a few of these in the flesh now and i love it to bits but not really any more than say an S202/3/4 etc.

Am i missing something?

I know the wingers wil come and have a pop at how dare i question the almighty 22B but is there anyone else that feels the same?

Nice cars anyhow mate.. both look lovely. Please dont think im picking at 22B....its a stunner.
i agree i love them too because it is as close as you will get to a wrc scoob, but for the crazy ammount they cost you could build an absolute monster with a wide body kit if you fancyed a wide body kit that is! which is what i would do!!

p.s did you get it of ebay?? i saw one on there with a WRC number plate which was apparantly first owned by nicky grist!

No mate not of e bay...

Body kits come u having a laugh all the filler starts to fall out, its like buying an mr2 and thinking u own a ferrari cause u put body kit on it not my style...i just sold a 06 sti for close to 20 grand but hey there are thousands of them on the road these cars are parked in garages waiting to be worth a mint in the coming years the 22b to me is the pinnacle of subaru and with out a doubt the only 1 to have when u have had the rest and beleive me i have had them all well nearly and in debt up to me all ***** .....

many thanks for ya comments ...

the 22b is a nice car but isnt it a hypercar where as the spec c is a supercar ??? although its a one off i cant understand why you would sell a 06 sti for the 22b ??? it seems more like trading in an M3 for jensen intercepter

Pure classic, they really don't make cars like the used to... which is shame, almost every car out there now is just the same XYZ underneath (except for the current scoobies).

I have always been a fan of classic motors and have to agree, the 22b and others like the P1, Type R/RA are collectors items already so keep em clean and original folks!

Mitsu's are classics as well, I think the Evo 5 and 6 are amazing, had the aggressive looks and I remember seeing them all those years ago owned by two directors in a company I worked for - yes I wished I had one as well!

I am waiting for the motoring industry to pull its head out of its **** and do a u-turn and start developing some proper cars again. Getting caught up in all the technophile and safety has retarded car designs.

I think the price they command speaks for itself - its simply the best looking Impreza ever to be built. Performance wise it was the best at the time. How you can compare it to an S202 is very odd - time moves on as does technology.

Mark - nice car but I wish you could type / spell / punctuate properly Trying to read your posts is painful
