Hi Duncan, just updating this thread to see what sort of mileage you have covered with these installed now?

Have you had to replace the pads or rotors yet?

Cheers.

Lee.

21,000 miles so far on them including:

Track days at: Snetterton x 3, Cadwell, Silverstone, Knockhill
34 laps of the Nurburgring
1 Time Attack Round at Knockhill

Still on the original pads and rotors.

Front pads have about 3-4mm left
Rear pads have about 6 mm left

Rotors are still looking great !!

I love these brakes

Yet again these performed faultlessly on track and from the looks of it will be plenty good enough for a season of Time Attack.

At the end of a 20 minute session of getting progressively quicker and later braking they were still strong enough to lock the wheels coming into the chicane from 135mph.

Totally impressed still.

Had a chat to the guy from PF yesterday that was there to offer advice and he has recommended the 01 pads for more initial bite but the Z rated (.11/.10) are more than adequate. Will try and get some of these sorted for the first event.

Ducting seems to be doing enough to cool them and they had gone a lovely blue colour so wear working hard

Great news, I bought a set from BOB'5 and have only done a few miles on them so far, I also destroyed my standard disks/DS2500 at 37,000 miles !

Glad to hear these will last a decent length of time, and take the abuse....

Thanks to D1CCY for the advice !

Thanks for the feedback,

Another Duncan !

DS2500's are disc killers. There are so many dead discs as a result of them.

My DS2500 pads cracked and fell to bits as they were removed... to be fair my discs had worn to a suprising degree, (mostly on the inner face).

Yeah my DS2500's did that in 4000 miles.

My first set of pf pads lasted 20,000 and are still useable and I have them as spares.

excellent reading this thread, thanks very much for the write ups.

Am now considering retaining my brembo calipers and going for these instead of a big brake kit.

Running the 01 pads now and they are immense on track. I wouldnt use them as everyday pads though as they squeel a lot more.

I bought a set of these on your recommendation and went to Oulton on Tuesday. I can honestly say they are fantastic - stopping power and no fade all day. Can't recomend them enough.

I did a day at Blyton, (Rally-Cross cicuit) and mine have blued....
But mine feel a little "dull" now, have I cooked the pads do you think ?

Pulled the wheel arch liners to get some air in as well !

Stopped me o.k. last night when brake tested by a d1ck in Peugeot cut into the outside lane on the motorway...

blue is good It shows that pad material has transferred to the discs.

ps - If you ever need to re-bed them in, then just follow the initial bedding in instructions and they will be as good as new.

I can only thank Paul at Zen for sharing the initially well kept secret - i think word is spreading now as more and more people try them as an alternative to spending 3 times as much on an AP setup.
