they didnt lock me up
turns out that it is a horsebox

My Dad had this happen to him last year,sold his laguna to some pikey who then decided to not send the log book off and rack up numerous parking/speeding ticket fines. DVLA were no help but after he went to court and swore on oath that he no longer owned the car it was all sorted

Well the important thing is you are home safely and will live to fight another day.
i deal with Magistrates every day and yes some think they are god, but they don't half come a cropper when you start quoting the law at them!!!
Nowadays when you sell a car the DVLA wirte to tell you you are no longer the owner, if they had done that years ago this may not have happened. Bet the coppers were eyeing up your car though!!! Did you offer them a ride??? in your car of course
