Part of a nasty trend towards programmes in which people are shamed/humiliated. She's actually rather unplesant to most of the people on her show; and the UK viewing public does seem to like watching people get insulted.

Decent science just isn't sexy, but show us a fattie being reduced to tears by a fraud and the UK viewing public is all over it like a fly to sh*t.

Sad, and, in my view, one of several good candidates that account for our rapidly degenerating culture.
