Nah mate, that might have improved her looks thus increasing her chances of reproducing!

Maybe the police man didn't hit her out of fear afterall, maybe he just thought she was getting frisky and struck out of blind fear!

Having a family member with epilepsy incidentally, I can categorically say there is no way you can 'fight' someone whilst having a fit. The policeman is being vilified needlessly, he should have done it properly as he is being accused anyway. It comes to something doesn't it when there is a media circus hovering around such incidents and lawyers eager to defend such people.

If the video was of her punching the policeman it would be a very different story.

Nah not true. Rannoch has merely offered a differing point of view which is his prerogative. We are all perhaps making assumptions purely on a visual basis (myself included), but given the information coming forth I believe the policeman was in the right to do what he did. However one day we may all be thankful for a just a little bit of liberalism, but for now I would say Rannoch reserve your sympathy for a more deserving case.

It's the media circus and the speed with which the whole hoo ha gains momentum I find most disappointing. It encourages people to behave in such an uncivilised manner and then to claim victim status in the hope to gain some COMPO!

As an aside there is some American bloke suing over bed bugs in an hotel?!

from what I can see from the footage, she was not punched, it was more a hammer blow, which is exactly the kind of move you would use to dislodge someone's arm from your tackle, as the move pushes down as well as strikes....

i think the police should be able to use all force necessary, how can we on one hand say that we want the scum off the street and then on the other hand debilitate the people who are doing the job by continuously bringing them into the spotlight for every perceived indiscretion??

I'm not sure I agree with all of this - from watching the video a couple of times it looks like she was well and truely subdued by three officers by the time the punches went in. Frankly it just looks like he decided to get his own back for the earlier struggle. He has been removed from front-line duties so the IPCC must think there is something in it, especially after he admitted he hit as hard as he possibly could.

That doesn't mean that he's suspended, or anything. It's probably best that he's not out on the street while all the controversy rages.

Scum, just like the video posted on P1 says, obey the law and you have nothing to fear!

Until a time that the law does become an *** I will try my best to follow that good advise.
So far it has done me well.

Lesson 1
Learn to handle your drink.

lesson 2
Don't take revenge on the bouncers car when he kicked you out for not learning lesson 1

Lesson 3
Don't get abusive with the law when they come to arrest you for not learning lesson 2

Lesson 4
Don't fight back when the abuse at not wishing to be arrested does not wash!

Lesson 5
Don't roll out the abuse/victimisation card and a pack of lies when you couldn't manage to follow the first four lessons

When will you scummy ******* WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE. <<< smiley does not do the rant enough justice

Andy

Lets be right here, the copper didn't realise he was on camera and thought he'd give her a whack or 5 and now he realises he's in bother
I hope the ****** loses his job and does a little stint inside, where all the boys can say hello to him

If I couldn't manage four simple lessons like that, I'd actually EXPECT to be beaten up by the rozzers for being such a ****.

I personally believe the media should keep their beak (excuse the pun ) out of the "goings on" of the law. Things like this should be dealt with internally. There will always be humans making the wrong decision at one time or another, we'd be robots if we didn't.
It doesn't need top news coverage to "bring out the truth" all it will do is put the police in a dim light as the media simply cannot "tell it how it is" without a spin or sensationalising it in some way.
Mud sticks as they say..

The officer thought and acted above the law. The Red Mist came down and he took advantage, Unfair maybe , But he of all people should know there are "eyes" everywhere.

This is one of the few situations where the US do better than us. Over their the cops nail the ***** first then ask questions afterwards. Oh, and their prison system's none too shabby either. Life actually means LIFE in most cases.

sick of stuff like this on the news! keep undermiming police authority the chavvy scum keep pushing and getting away with it! its just like that herion addict gettin comp for not being given herion while arrested!!! i mean WTF!

Some food innocent black mum..... this is not! That attack wasn't racial, it was because the silly little bint got pissed, aggressive and damaged a car! end of. She's using the old medical one to try and get of it with a nice settlement, usually 5 or 6 figures..... and who pays for that.... all of us! If the police officer felt that was necessary then that what he needed to do. I wouldnt let a silly bint spit on my or try to damage my future bloodline. Anyone who says they would have is either wierd or disillusioned! If she had been a nice person she would not have been in that situation in the first place. so the silly bint got what she deserved!

Leaving aside all of that, the real "scumbags" in all of this are the press for their slant on it, and whoever encouraged her to make a claim for getting a kicking that her behaviour would seem to entirely justify.

Who cares. Stupid bint, could'nt handle her drink, causes criminal damage and gets in a scrap with a copper. She was in the wrong, gets nicked and kicks off. If anybody else goes on about hitting a woman, ok she's female - she was not acting like a lady, more so like an animal, so deserved to get treated like one.

Fair play to the copper, was only doing his job and gets assulted. Give him a promotion. Hope the judge gives her hard labour, learn what its like to earn your money bitch.

Good to see the scum of this country getting a deserved slap.

Another example of this country going to the dogs, place is going to be run by chav scum soon.
