There is a Glasgow region SIDC meet this Thursday (5th) see events section on Scottish Scoobies for more details .
These meets take place on the first Thursday every month and are well attended with around 20 cars most months . From April to September our meets are held 'on the road' with any club business being dealt with informally at our stops .

All Subaru owners are welcome to attend .

I'm just jesting, I love Imprezas and really enjoy the runs in the countryside as well as meets organised in pubs, etc.. but its just becoming more common seeing early WRX's being bought and driven by irresponsible scum, you can get them cheaper than RS Turbos and Saxos now, and the massive insurance difference doesnt tend to matter to them......... because they dont bother with something as pointless as that?!

Cheers,

"All Subaru owners are welcome to attend."

When did it become an 'owners' club rather than a 'drivers' club.

Might look out that Honda jacket that made a few wet themselves in the past.................

Dave, how many will that be now?

I still have 4 wheel drive but slightly slower for the time being. It's good for hunting and fishing though.......

How the hell did you know?

Did I tell you or something cause I cannae remember

I was actually thinking about that for you too....when you getting your new scoob??

It'll be good to get back into a scoob, my brother's been letting me drive his Skyline for a while and it definately goes much faster than my Merc ML55 AMG

Dug, that's about 5 if you don't count the 2 shell's i've had kickin about.

Surprised you ain't got rid of the Ranger yet, considering how long you had the A4 for.

Gordon, I think I read it in one of your posts....SIDC or P1WOC, can't remember.

Considered a Skyline myself, but didn't want to go back to a car 10+ years old.

Dunno when i'll get the next Scoob. Hopefully when I get back from me hols.

Cheers for wake up text Dave.

ML63?? Rubbish!!!! lol !!!

Seriously, Mercedes Garage which I get my car serviced at said the ML55 has more torque than the ML63 but top end speed is slightly less.....And for the amount of money you pay for a ML63, I guess you can buy a new Scoob (RB320), new Evo (MR400) and enough spare cash to buy a holiday villa!!!!

So I'll see you shortly in a Scoob then Dave??

Haven't seen you for a while in Glasgow Dougster, where you hiding now
?? I suppose I can go to the Honda garage and see the better half anyways!!!!

Lol, i dunno why you bought an ML at all Gordon. The depreciation must be horrendous?

Yep, scoob bound again. Nothing else really fills the void. An Evo is a good call, but without going for a 5 or 6, then your paying 10+ for a 7 at least, which don't seem to sell as well as the 8's. Type-R's or even P1's have came down a bit, but prices seem to be staying kind of evenly now, so that's the next port of call me thinks.

All I have left are some wheel nuts an 6 pot tarox pads left.

I can take pictures of the pads if needed.

Any takers?

^6 pot tarox calipers and the nuts are for standard 16" Subaru alloys (I think)

Why not attend the local monthly meet, last one had a BBQ up at The Rest and be Thankful and 23 cars attended.

We were all bringing something to this Scottish Meet, so i thought i would bring along a nice 6 foot by 3 foot poster i have in my possesion of a stunning white wagon fae Fife. You might recognise the wagon if you saw it but then again, maybe not in its current state.

You getting it now boss
