[QUOTE=Rasher;6741823]do you know if the car has had a remap??
It hasnt had a re-map yet but it will be off to Roger Clarks for a full service and i will also ensure it has an Ecutek as well. Have you had yours Tek'd? If so what was the outcome?

I see the flying bananna is still around then, it turned up at one of our meets about a year ago. I thought by now someone might have ripped off that body kit and put it back to standard!!

Hi Simon nice to meet another S202 owner
Mine is 377/400 and all i am planning to do to it is Ecutek it, pop in a panel filter, de-cat it at the down pipe and put some Defi gauges in and thats it! Oh and i might fit a full wings West kit HA HA NOT!!
What is going to be the big Scooby meet this year, cause i would love to bring it along??
Also do you have any pictures of yours??
I saw a yellow "S202"(Bollox) on Pistonheads from that Keighley Trade Centre. It quite obviously isnt and i cant beleive those morons are allowed to advertise stuff like that, they need to be shut down.
Cheers Rich

Reason why I say I hate to be the one to tell you though - as far as I can tell there were only about 50 of them made for the Japanese market (I think - I was trying to work it out the other week..). It was based on a shell with a roof vent - lthough I'm not sure how it otherwise differed from UK cars or a Spec-C or S202.
But other than that - the S202 is a stunning car

Hate to be the one to say this if you were after something rare - but there were JDM 'Prodrive' style bugeyes I've got a picture of, I think a white one, in a japanese dealers somewhere on my computer. I'll try and dig it out.

If so they're getting ever rarer!!!

Looks like it - although it shouldn't have fogs - but it looks like a prodrive bumper with fogs fitted in a pod or in replacement fog cover panels (if that makes sense to anyone with a Prodrive).
But at least that answers the trim question I had - so its an RA. Thanks

The S202 was based on the Spec C, never heard of a Prodrive version, so what you are saying is that 50 of the run of 400 were for the Japanese market only, what numbers, and why, cant see the logic in that as none were destined for the UK market originally unless they were bought by dealers(Wicked Kit for example) or imported personally by Ralph Ferman(yep the ex F1 driver) as in my example?
But as I said any info to shed some light on this would be appreciated
BTW - if anyone has a standard S202 they're planning to sell - make sure to give me a yell first
Is this one of them? (about halfway down the page).

what's your budget mate?
Dude you are not serious???
You cant sell
I intend to keep my car along time, well until i can afford an RA-R, which will be a long time coming.
Question for ya Rasher. Do you happen to know where to get the STI Defis from?? I had some of the normal ones but i fancied the STI ones?

Your getting it mixed up fella the S202 is the benchmark for all bugeye's you are refering to the ltd run which had the prodrive rally replica bumper.
2001.09 : The Impreza WRX STi got a mild face-lift (type B). And The Impreza WRX STi "Prodrive Style"was added to the Impreza WRX STi line-up. It comes with exclusive front bumper & front grill, and side & rear spoiler that designed by Prodrive
