These ******* have mopeds aswell.
Guy I used to work with was huge, anyway one day we were out and about and came back to the car to see a ticket warden just about placing the sticker on his car. My collegue (who was huge) then said put that ticket on my car and me and you are fighting. The guy (not huge) thought about it for a second and left lol.
Or other times when we used to be working in a building and see a traffic warden walking up to our illegally parked van. We would then open the window and my collegeue (who was huge) would poke his head out the window and shout "oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" like a fookin bear. Anyway the traffic warden left the van well alone. 99% of traffic wardens wouldnt ticket him if he was in sight. They were all to scared lol

Just remebered on incident about 2 years ago
In london, off of Percy Street nr Soho.
Newish BMW parked at a meter, meter had run out ( i guess) Traffic warden writing out the ticket when this big and i do mean B-I-G black chap (6'6" and 18 stone bodybuilder type, looked a lot like Wesley Snipes when he played Blade, only taller) comes back to his car.
this is where we joined the story, heard the commotion and looked out of the window of the first floor edit suite i was in.
The black guy explains he was late and just about to go. The warden must have said words to the efect that he is still going to get a ticket.
The black guy towers over him and said "If you put that on my car i am gonna make you suck my dick right here in the street!"
(Crowd now starts to gather)
The traffic warden stops for a few seconds and then says "he is only doing his job"
Black guy reiterrates his threat "If you put that on my car i am gonna make you suck my dick right here in the street!" and starts to unbutton his fly infront of the traffic warden (much to the amusement and accompanied with jeers aimed at the traffic warden from the crowd).
Warden in the end walks off muttering into his radio, crowd gives the BMW owner a round of applause and jeers at at the warden and black guy drives off without a ticket.
That was a good day

I just saw some fella get a ticket. I don't think he realised he was in a parking zone where you could get done for being there too long. There certainly weren't any signs nearby.
Down comes the traffic warden in his motorbike gear... including his helmet on.. and proceeds to write out the ticket.
Now correct me if I am wrong, but they have to be in their full uniform, including hat, when dishing out the ticket?

My local Tescos has a 3 hour car park time limit. Plenty of time for your weekly shop. However, they use a camera to record you entering and leaving. If, for some reason, a large vehicle obscures your plate from the camera on your exit, and you visit the store again later that day, you get a £70 ticket. Has happened to lots of people so far.
Also, I used to live in Westminster and the wardens there are ruthless. It has many claims to shame: first local authority to earn more from parking than from council tax, and the only place in the country where disabled badges don't apply, are just two of them.

The ones in London do, or at least my area. Allows them to get from target to another quickly
Not a fan of them, in the least!
I work in the West End and they utterely ruthless!! Even on Public Holidays they are out in large groups waiting for someone to make the tiniest of errors.

Parts of the west end have wardens 24/7.
each and every ticket I have challenged and gone to the "appeals hearing" I have won.
too many are illegal and many councils have been done by immigration for employing them.
