Should be "3 (Gender Non-Specific) persons from an area in the United Kingdom killed and ate a swan"

As an aside - if they are eating the animals is their act not one of criminally wrong as opposed to morally (parasites?)
Is it not like killing anything to eat it?

Eastern Europeans have some weird appetites. In addition to liking swan they also eat carp. It may be a fish but its no cod, its a botom feeder and basically eats mud and apparently the meat is disgusting. One of the Carp lakes I used to fish at banned Eastern European speaking types from 'fishing' as they weren't doing catch and release but more catch n bbq

The trick with carp is to put them in a tank of clean water for 7 days (alive) and this makes them taste better when you cook them (Hugh Fernley watsit told me that)

I don't think we should be justifying this obscene act because they eat it somewhere else! This is the UK and Swans are protected! They are living in this country and should live by our rules.
Not saying that it definitely was an Eastern European that did this, but if it is, no leniency should be shown just because they do this at home!

The thing is, in the Uk we have Tesco's Asda and Morissions, its not like people need to go shooting the widllife on the local pond to feed the family.

Shopkeeper: *without a moments hesitation* "Crossbow!"
Honestly, you couldn't possibly come into the UK and think that it was
1) Ok to brandish a crossbow in a public place
2) Appropriate/moral (or even most efficient) to kill a swan with said crossbow

2 deer were reported on as living in a graveyard in Glasgow... A week or two later they had been hunted by local sub human scum and their dogs and air guns and from memory one had been found killed until it was dead...

The asylum seekers
were barbecuing a duck
and officers found two
dead swans, ready to be
roasted, concealed in
bags. "
Concealed in bags!
Especially as these animals where on council ponds in council parks hardly out in the wild woods, TBH 'some' people do not care for the law or those who inforce it or abide by it!

I thought "ready to be roasted" was some eighteen year old d cup in local nightclub, posturing to assorted footballers at approximately 2 am.

No question it is immigrants taking carp and swans. Both are delicacies in Eastern Europe.
Anybody who has travelled a bit will have seen tanks of carp in fish markets. Never seen a swan though - presumably there aren't any left
Richard.
PS Edited to add, they also shoot wild birds in many European countries, and I don't mean pheasants. Finches etc are a favourite (sparrow-like) and also great delicacies. It's a popular sport, especially during migration.
