I can't believe this is still going on!. Next week there will be a thread about i dunno Supra's or something, "I bought a Supra and i like it more than the STI" wow fantastic good for you.
Some people just don't understand phrases like each to their own, or horses for courses, another man's meat etc etc.
If you sell your impreza and buy another marque why feel the need to tell us all about it?. If you bought a supra why not post how happy you are on a Supra forum?
Posting on a Subaru forum how great your new marque is is just a deliberate attempt to rub people up the wrong way.
On the grand scale of life how important do you think it is that you prefer your audi? Why should anyone else care?.
Your now a member of a different community, i would say that as your obviously still clinging to the scoob community that no matter how your audi out-performs your old scoob obviously the scoob community is better and more likely to get involved. I would suggest if your hoping to stay a member of that community you lose the "better than you" attitude and stop ramming your smug arrogance down people's throats.
my 2p's worth.

I very much doubt that bluto22b will stop posting on this thread as I doubt that his story is a genuine one. The details of his thread conveniently fit into a very stereotypical wind up most of which is based not on cars but on social stigma.
Having said that some of the trolling is quite amusing. Whatever happened to torpid or vapid of whatever he is currently known as - surely he should have some involvment in this trollathon.

I saw a couple of Impreza's this afternoon and it was obvious that the owners thought they were the fastest thing ever created by the way they were being driven.

I love the irony of this thread. Bluto22b titled it 'Glad I moved on' - yet clearly he hasn't. It looks like he's spent about 2 hours each night for the last few days hanging around this forum. Obviously can't make the final break with Subaru - very sad

The reason why I come here is for the same reason I have for the last 5 years. It is (or at least was, now I have my doubts) a forum to share ideas among common minded people. It seems now the people on here are a set of no brainer one track mind individuals who won't hear a word spoken against their beloved Scooby.
Elder statesmen such as PS Lewis and myself are what made this site great at the turn of the millenium, you should all be greatful

One of the reasons i rarely post on this site anymore is because of these anti-subaru ***-heads. We're all here or were at some point because we love(d) the impreza and we have/had something in common.
Neither Skyline forum's or Passionford have these kinds of threads because who really cares if they spank one, whereas this is a popular theme here.
Threads like these are a compliment to Subaru, they made a benchmark car in the classic that still to this day people feel compelled to compare to this that and the other. There are a handful of cars like the 911 or M3 that people hold in such high regard and we should all be happy little those with small ***** feel the need to put the impreza down.

just like to have a quick say, got rid of my toyota mr2 for the wrx and i have never gone back to my old mr2 forum telling them how great my scooby is. the audi may be a better all round package but if you go to the vatican and proclaim god does not exist you will lose your argument, pretty much the same here. people love their cars and so don't take kindly to others abusing their car while appearing to boast of their new status symbol/car. if you love it so much why not go to an audi forum for saying how good it is and just keep up with old pals on this forum from time to time.

What's the point posting about a MTM S3?
Nevertheless for once your mindless cut and paste has actually been of some interest:
1. I'm really surprised at just how slow a MTM S3 is. Same time as a standard 645i which is not really designed to lap tracks.
2. Also surprised the E39 M5 and RS6 have the same lap times. I would have thought 50bhp, more torque, 4WD and about five year's more development time (and knowing what the competition is) would have given a faster car... interesting.
3. AND THE MOST INTERESTING: The now discontinued M3 convertible laps faster than the brand new RS4!!! You would have thought the additional rigidity, and extra 71bhp, 2 cylinders and five year's development time would have resulted in a faster car.
Its like philosophers say: Give an infinite number of monkeys a typewriter and an infinite period of time one of them will end up typing the full works of Shakespeare. You are proving this right: give Audilover enough time and he will (accidentally of course) end up posting something interesting.

And you call the MTM remapped S3 slow when its faster than Evo's and scoobies
Are evos and scoobies slow then too?
