If you can, contact him before its sent out,as i had to send mine back as the refresh rate was every 10 seconds, not ideal !
it can only be set at the factory and he didnt have any 2 second refrsh rate ones,in the end i got a colour`d LCD one from Japan for £10 delivered

You ideally need something with a resolution well under two seconds to do this job ideally. Anything that slow will miss a lot of the interesting stuff that happens under boost.

yeah, but im looking at the road mainly so the 2 second refresh rate i have is ample as id miss any reading quicker anyway as i say,im looking where im going rather than down at the display

Although you're also making a wider point about the utility of cars festooned with multiple gauges that don't have any sort of memory or logging function. By and large, they're useless.

i use it for use for sustained high speed use on "track",so it is of use to me.
also in the summer it gives me an INDICATION of temps,im not **** enough to want to know exact temps, seeing the gauge at 40c is enough for me to know to allow a mile of use to then see a figure of 20c in the summer etc,so it is well used and i enjoy the benefit of it
The heatsoak i see when stationary etc is of use and i like to know roughly the temps,if they are 1-4 degrees out,so be it and as i say, usually when the car is being used in a manor i need to see the charge temps,i need to be looking at the track with only a glance at the display so seeing 34 instead of 30 isnt a factor,if i see 50+ then i reduce boost/WOT
