Nice one, Hope you enjoy it.

Mate of mine has had one of these on order since they were launched, he's waited two and a half years for it so far, now they've told him it's ready he decides to build a garage before he picks it up

Nice one Ian, thats an amazing car, and what a colour

I cant wait to see it at one of the meets, or racing around next time im in Otley. I knew you would get one soon after speaking to you in Suburban a few weeks ago, the huge grin on your face let the cat out the bag .

Ignore the tossers with negative comments, you have worked hard for your money and well deserve to enjoy it.

Did you see the programme on Discovery other night showing how the cars are made in the Ferrari plant at Moranello? I have it recorded on the Sky box if you missed it.

Ta Raf,

I've been working on this one for a while getting the finance together so did'nt want to say anything until it actually happened...

I'd like to see the programme - can you record it to DVD-RW or video tape?

I've seen that before, great programme. Like it how they've got trees in the factory for the right humidity and ambience!

Quality sticker job!! (as though I should expect anything less...)

Absolutley gutted for you Steve (actually got that sick stomach feeling looking at those photos) especially after all the hard/quality work that had gone into the build.

Do you know what caused it?

Yep, changing from 2nd back into 1st instead of 3rd, resulting in nearly 14000rpm, and snapped rod bolts letting the rod roam free!

Sounds good to me.

Get a date from Martin and I'll work around it, since he's the difficult one in this being so busy with the new shop.

Thanks guys - I will be doing "test rides" at some point...

Detailer has just arrived - spending all day taking the scuffs/scratches out.

I still found myself drooling over some of the Scoobs in the club and that Morris Marina turned a few heads - prooves the point of a good car is a good car no matter what it is

Stunning car.

Ageless beauty wrapped around an almost erotically tuned engine, with an exhaust note to die for.

...so much for the Marina, that Ferrari thing looked okay too

My first ever car was a Marina Coupe 1.8 TC

It lasted 3 days

Fantastic car mate - get out and enjoy it whenever you can.
Forget comments from your neighbours and let them carry on with their sad lives and Vauxhall vectra's and Mundano's with 2.2 children.

Lifes for bloody living mate, we're only here but for a short time, before you know it you'll be 80 and dribbling sat in a chair thats if you dont cop for something first.

You work hard no doubt and obviously enjoy your fruits of success - top man i take my hat off to you.

when your 80 and dribbling you can look back and say 'i f**king did it'!!!!!

It was funny. I actually thought I'd come to the wrong night when I pulled into the car park. Thank goodness I had a Ducati fleece on so I did'nt get linched!

Lovely motor indeed Ian....although if it was my money, I'd be buying a Lambo (coz I'm mental).

Just wondered......what do you do (work that is).....coz I just turned 40, don't have a bad job, but I'll not be in a position to go out to buy a Ferrari any time in the next 20 years.

Enjoy the car!
