Damn.... I was in Skeg all weekend, but never made it to the crazy golf or where they sell the waffles. I was stuck in a tent with a few thousand people being made to drink vast ammounts of booze while listening purely to 70's music!
What a weekend! LOL

Hi peps....I was looking for something to do that weekend, and as it is my other halfs birthday on the Saturday she didn't fancy the weekend at a car show. So she's going to get a real treat and stay at Butlins in Skeggy for the weekend.

If you see a classic black wrx with gold rally decals and a bookshelf on the boot, say hi...

Where is the Gunby roundabout...I did use to live in Bingham but dont remember the area very well.

This is the roundabout just outside burgh-le-marsh where the roads from spilsby/horncastle and louth/alford meet.

Smile Willingham Woods,Horncastle,Gunby

Hi all - just to confirm - because previous threads have confused me! -the last meeting point before trip into Skeg is GUNBY ROUNDABOUT not ULCEBY as we did one year. Gunby Roundabout is directly on route from Horncastle and is the last roundabout before Burgh Le Marsh.
It is where the A158 (which we would be on) the A1028 + B1196 merge. There is a car park on the roundabout for GUNBY HALL . I originally posted 1.00pm Willingham Woods....1.30pm Shell Horncastle......1.45ish GUNBY. Will the other squadrons be meeting at Gunby too and if so is the 1.45 - say 2.00pm ok with all? ALTERNATIVELY the layby on left just before we get to roundabout at Gunby (I think we joined forces before there) on the A158 would be a better bet in my view.
Will alter my profile for any emails to maybe exchange Nos with squadron leaders. - chocs away!

Just go straight through market rasen, heading for louth/horncastle, past the race course on the right, then it's on the left at the end of the straight (just go steady along the straight as there are often coppers on watch for crazy bikers!)

Think 2pm at gunby may be a little early to meet the others but we will just have to see how it pans out. We can always hang about there for a bit, have a chat, and watch the world go by....................

My wagon will be doing pre-flight checks at Willingham Woods.
Passed MOT on Friday so all is well (apart from a small hole in the floorpan-previous owner must have run over a robotic rabbit).
