u taking a bucket and chamois then?
It's officially going to be a no cleaning afternoon for me
There was a time that I would have stopped off and re-cleaned the car, Paula still prays everynight that I have permanantly got rid of my OCD with car cleaning.

Default 20 miles from home and disaster happened

You pootle about in the car for weeks and every thing is fine.......So WHY when you plan for something particular do the F ing gremlins pop along and Fxck thing up???????

Got about 20 miles from home and lost the clutch.....Hose with a hole and no more hydraulic fluid....Boxxocks!!!!!!!

So had to complete the trip in an Avensis diesel....not quite the same experiance so hid for the weekend in Butlins.....Went to bed after 3:00 Friday and Saturday mornings drinking loads of bear. So sorry guys missed it and was looking forward to meeting other Scooby owners. Maybe next time.

It was quite an experiance getting the old scoob on to the back of a low loader with no clutch...Still on the bright side it could have been worse, I could have been in Skeggy and lost the clutch....

What a good turnout concidering the weather! Good to see you guys again + some new faces too.

Hope no-one in our 'Northern convoy' got any damage off that 5miles odd of loose chippings! Why can't the council just do roads properly - after all, they just landed me with that £205 car tax!!!!!!

Anyway, same again next year................

Trouble with Hunny is that if weather is like today there are few places to hide and if it is nice then the roads are hell - unless we take the back roads. Might get some scoobycity guys along as well tho

Well done for organising this Wolfie, nice meeting you at last

I will show you under the bonnet next time mate... It was a bit to wet to be standing around cars looking at them
I see some nice cars today lads and i noticed that no evo's was out so i could wind up both of my turbos up there ****.. LOL "Na" jokes aside it would have been nice to see some there...

Everyone who braved the weather Well done.... And just to rub salt into the wound 5 mins away from home the rain stopped and the sun broke through ....

Good to meet you Wolfie, Dave H and Rob "Nice car" and the owners i got to meet... It was nice to meet you all and i hope we can sort something out very soon with better weather.....

Oh the chippings-a major bug bear every year with me - this time I shall contact the council. I can almost guarantee a new windscreen due to the councils belief that chucking a load of stones down and letting us tax paying public do the rest of the work is acceptable , just winds me up every year.

Anyway (Rant Off) great to meet you - maybe see some of you at Elvington.

Cheers
John
