si, well I gave mine a real good going over this weekend and whilst it looks great, I just know deep down (or not so deep for subaru paint ), that it is all swirly and gnarly

The brembos fit just ..dont they . will look good when the backs go on.
BTW, I have lost my red calipers as well now...will send you a pic

I know what you mean Chris that's exhactly like mine was looking when you looked close up, I know it's not cheap but after seeing the results I don't think you will better a pro paint correction detail.... it's not something that I would attempt myself with a rotary cleaner you can burn through the paint no problem at all. I've got the option now of simply using a PC on it just to keep it tip top from time to time

Thanks Jim Good to see you about there matey !!

Whats up next?..... now that's a question I am intending on enjoying the car as it stands for a while, later in the year I may go for a tek3 to finish the car off, ported headers maybe who knows we shall see what comes together.

Have you seen this shot before ?

Can't believe the difference in the paintwork - and i thought it looked near perfect in the flesh
I really must get my stone chips and rust sorted so i can get my millions of swirls sorted

Brun - runs to get camera so everyone can see what ****ty blue paint looks like

Please bear in mind, this car gets a 2 hour polish once a year and is probably washed a maximum of 12 times a year
I think the pics don't actually do the nasty paintwork any justice - it is worse than it looks. The rust is typically around the front window

Yes visually we have travelled a few miles

The only new paintwork is the front and rear bumpers, spoiler and sideskirts everything else is as it was... I think my first leap forward was having the dent man out to look at both the front doors because after a good initial clean all you could see were the dents I could do with another visit just to smooth a couple of other areas up a touch.... I know where they are
The next leap was without a doubt Matt's handy work we have not had a local meet since so I'll be interested to see what the gang think next week.

Good bubbling Mark !!!!!!! for god's sake gerrit sorted out before it gets to indeep it must be damp under that rubber for months at a time through the winter

Keep your eye out for a Welsh flag Gav we will be on the other end of the pole

It's been like that for over a year now
As it has never got any worse than it is, i've not bothered about it. I've sure my car is disappearing under the rubbers though. Out of sight / out of mind

My thoughts exhactly Mark... what's happening under the rubbers !!
Even if you have a patch job for now you should get that sealed up

Maybe some sticky fudge would be sufficiant

I had a new screen put in at the back of last year and had it all sealed so it does have protection to a degree

Lovely

Can I ask where you got the covers from? I bought a set of ebay ages and the fit was rather poor, I'm looking for another set but I'm paranoid I'm going to get another set of rubbish ones.

To be honest mine are not brilliant... they are a fibreglass copy made from a set of originals, lets just say I knew precisely where to put my stickers as whoever made the copy did not remove them from the set used as the mould the fit is great no problems there but I find they chip easy because there is no give in them at all, you need to find the slightly flexable one's like OEM that give a little when they get a stone hit them.
