Evening Bluto.
Would just like to say not all new members are idiots. New to Subaru ownership yes, not to the school of life. You do make some valid points in amongst the strange cocky statements and there's no doubt your new car is a good choice for your needs.
What I think many members (new and old) find hard to understand is your need to post about it on a Subaru forum. Before my Impreza I had several BMW's. They have a reputation for being driven by the arrogant, much as the Impreza has a boy racer reputation and the mondeo has a dull sales rep one. But they are what I chose to drive at the time. I liked them and still do. But to go on a BMW forum to tell all how great my Impreza is? - it's bizarre.
I'm sure you do deserve everyones respect for your more senior years, number of posts on the forum and achievements in life. You'd be much more likely to receive that respect if you didn't bang on about it so pompously! Show a little class man!
Wishing you a long and happy retirement. Hopefully you can find more enjoyable things to do than starting controversial threads on a forum for a car you no longer own.
Like......driving your new car! There's one option anyway.
Just don't vent your frustrations on us Subaru owners - Its not our fault you need to get up for a pee five times a night and haven't managed a stiffy since 1989!

I can't see what the problem is! I would love an RS4, but even fancy an S3. You cannot knock a 5 star rating ffs. But just to get into a quiet car again, ahhh, build quality, silence, gadgets. LOL.
