What does the above sentence refer to Danny - do you mean you keep your bulk if you train naturally ? And your strength ?
Cheers,
Andy

I train naturally, about twice a week (also go out on the mountain bike 2 or 3 times a week, about an hour in the local hills each time).

actually this is quite interesting, as i used to do a bit of weights a while back, well tbh its well over a year or so, anyway i built up my arms quite well, and then stopped, few weeks back i thought they were looking a bit skinny, so i started doing a few arm bits and bobs and they just seam to balloon out no trouble at all.
in stark contrast to my mates who were bang into the "roids" and when they stopped it all went **** up.
i read something about "muscle memory" a few years back.....

As for the 'it all goes **** up' comment. No offence to your mates, but they must have been doing something wrong if when they stopped using 'stuff' it all went **** up. From experiance, yes, i have lost weight after stopping training, and stopping helping myself (lol, sounds rude) but it happened slowly and tbh i am still a much bigger build than i would have been if i had never 'helped it along the way'.
All i meant was, you dont lose 'Everything' you gained when you stop training, and you keep a larger proportion if you dont assist yourself as well, but as explained above, thats probably cos you didnt build as much to start with.
