Me, I like to push my car as far as it will go, and it's definately not suited to mudplugging, so won't be doing that again.
Only thing with my Thinder Tiger is that I think the engine is too powerful for the car as it keeps shaking itself apart, mind you it don't help that it spends most of it's time on the roof

You haven't seen John in action, no jump is too high

If you're guarantee'd one thing at our nitro meets, that's a bloody good laugh, especially me usually having to do running repairs after each run because something has come loose! or people chasing after their cars for 1/2 a mile because they have rolled onto their roof's

what kind of range do the contollers have, and what happens if they go out of that range
Do they just stop ?

I'd highly recommend getting a "failsafe" that way if the car goes out of range, or the batteries decided to die, then the failsafe will automatically put the brakes on, or else the car will just thunder along until it hits something, usually at full throttle.
Failsafes are around £10 and only takes 5 mins to install and setup, well worth the money

Are they generic or do i have to get a model specific one?
Sounds like a wise tenner to spend

basically, take the basildon turn off the a127 after fortune of war.
left at first roundabout towards bas.
under the a127, and staright over the ext roundabout, left at the next roundabout (watch the camera!!!!) right around the next roundabout and back on yourself (dual carriageway) (gloucester park car park is first on your left).
