If it was Ronaldo, there would be another 'cheat' storm.

Rooney - 19 goals.
Shevchenko - 14 goals.

Considering Rooney's game has so much more about it than just putting the goal in the back of the net, he's certainly head and shoulders above Andriy.
Shevchenko is pure class. He'll come good I just hope not this season. He's a top top class player.

Fact is Rooney is still developing. The great thing about Ronaldo is he's taken the spotlight off Rooney which I think will really help him. He's also given him somebody to drive him on. I'm sure he'll want to prove he's as good. If the two reach their potential I think United can dominate English and European football in the next few seasons.

true about joe cole but i don't see you commenting on morten gamst pedersen dive and on shevchenko he does look like a player with no confidence which if your a chelsea fan or not it sad to see a great player stuggling and i hope he gets a chance too prove what a great player he is.

I hate the fact a great player who is a legend at a great club like AC has now gone to a small London club purely for the cash and because he's his wifes bitch

Don't get me wrong, I do like to see Shevchenko playing well (believe it or not, I was all smiles when he netted his first in the CL for them - briefly, very, very briefly ).

As STi said, he's top class, however, I think dropping a yard of pace has contributed to a fairly mediocre season for him - whether or not he can adapt his game, I'm not too sure. He has clearly been used as a pawn in the Abramovich/Mourinho saga too and that's certainly not been fair on him.

Turns out Joe Cole hasnt been injured... He went away on an intensive Jose Arrogantio diving course for a few months and came back with an even higher graded certificate than Robben

Ashley Cole on the other hand gets his bonus based on how often he can moan at officials and other players I loved it in the second half after he had studded Dunn and Dunn told him to fork off... Cole turned his back with a big sulky face and quietly said "no you fork off"...

There's no question CSKA London have great players, but I would hate to pay to watch that garbage every week... Fancy getting totally overrun by Blackburn/Watford/Wigan/et al and scawping marginal wins...

How Mourinho is involved in football at any level defies belief but I am worried that if Abramovic continues his interest and hires a decent manager this summer, that CSKA London might become a footballing force...

Do you mean they will do better than Carling Cup Winners, FA Cup Finalists, Champions League semi finalists and 2nd in the Premiership ,

Cant wait to get a decent manager!

abdabz - what a load of tosh, respect where its due, this guy has done it with lesser teams - see Porto where he won CL and UEFA cup. Okay, he's got an arrogance which is intolerable but cant deny he's a talented manager.

Helen Keller could manage Chelsea with that budget and win a couple of trophies...

As for diving his lesser team to the CL

Whatever floats your boat... But if you likes ya footy the Mourinho way, you're a lost cause my child

Reading it again, I was a bit harsh as they are gifted individuals at the top end of the sport , but the world that we live in today has changed so much, the money the life style, the adoration of the fans, the attention of certain females!!!, makes them feel like they are special (prima donnas if u want). When u have got a lot, people just want to give you more.... Premiership millionaire 70% discount card in Armani, trust me
