Thing is Subaru never listen to their customers, I replaced my 03 wrx over a year ago with a new 06 and yet I still get letters asking me if I would be interested in a new subaru as i'm a previous owner !!
I love the car but I think in general the dealers are crap, customer services are worse and they still fit the worst car radio/cd possible.
The new model looks like a horse with a spanked 4rse, so I will probably be looking else where when the sad time comes to swap mine. Everyone has different expectations of a car, but for me I love the practicality of a car with good performance and a big boot for the familly duties.
