Unfortunately not.

I did get a thrashing on the strip though and a good thrash at Brunters for Performance ford mag back in 05 though.

I'd liked to of have tracked the saff however i know i would of broke it. The scooby is a much more capable car on track.. cossies without some serious prep die out on track

frayz, I've started a GB in the group buy section, if you're interested, stick your name down with your required brake setup and vehicle then I can get prices

Cheers Mark, ive posted on it.

There is no mention of pads in the GB.. can you confirm this??

Will they be those pony DS2500s as normally supplied with the AP kits?

Okay guys i think ive decided on these..

Alcon forged monoblock 6 pots. These come with 343mm cresent grooved fully floating discs. The biggest disc i can really squeeze under my 17" track rims.

Similar money to the AP kit but looks like a better setup IMO. Also a bit different, as you dont see many people here in the UK running these.

The Brembos are now off the car,

They have been cleaned and will be ready to paint by next week sometime. The discs have been cleaned and so have the pads.

The discs and pads seriously look brand new, I'll post some pics when i get a min.

So all ready to go.

Best offer over £550 gets em inc painting to the colour of your choice, id recomend Black though to be honest.

Frayz,

They look good, but i assume they use a standard shape pad, so you won't have problems sorting the make and type of pad you want.

The Brembos are now listed in the General for sale section.

If anyone from the ESC really wants to make a decent offer then you best get in quick so i can hold em for you.

Cheers

Nate,

Just out of interest. What did you pay for yours?

I might put them on eBay if nobody is seriously interested.

There are a few sets on there at the moment is a right crap condition, one set has a starting price of 850 euro = £585!!!!

Heres a few quick snaps of the discs and pads taken on a mates phone.

As you can see the discs have been bead blasted back to as new and have now been wrapped in rust protection paper.

The discs have virtually no signs of a lip whatsoever and have lots and lots of life left in them. I paid approx £450 for these alone.

The pads have done approx 500 miles and are lierally just bedded in.

The calipers are being prepped for painting at the moment and will be refurbed probably in silver with black decals but if somebody puts a deposit on before i buy the paint then i will paint to the colour of your choice.

Obviously the paint and clearcoats used will be the proper VHT coatings.

Any questions please feel free to ask.

Cheers

Frayz
