Well the Brembos have been repainted and i gotta say look really really nice.
Lovely glossy black coating with silver graphics. They will be sent out to the buyer end of this week if not early part of next.
These will be my replacements and arrive hopefully before the weekend

Zak knows the rules on my car guys..
Not even he is allowed to wash it.
Dunc, they come with a pad from Optec, similar in compound to the DS2500 but without the deposits. Im gonna run them on the road and probably some Mintex F2 pads for track.

I like the look of them a lot, just out of interest did you do them yourself?
If not then where did you get them done and what sort of timescales are we looking at?
Cheers

Cheers for the comments guys...
Just cant wait to get the Alcons on now.
Car will be back on the road June 1st
It seems that seeing as my car is at Zaks it would be rude not to do some more fiddling with the engine while its there

Oh nothin major, just some porting of the OEM headers before we swap to tubular ones and my 800cc injectors. Possibly fit my oil cooler if it turns up too
This will allow us to run the boost of the 20g right up to the redline.. maybe push it beyond 1.6 bar if we can.
Ths is all groundwork for testing.
After we're happy with that, the chassis will be finished next with a swap to some KW variant 3 coilovers and then we can make that all important swap to a FMIC. Appart from pushing more boost, this will allow us to junk alot of unwated kit in the engine bay and fit a parallel fuel system. This will all be a custom design and fully aeroquiped.
The FMIC allows us the space to mount all the fuel system and relocate the header tank to the rear bulkhead.
All in the pipeline mate
