so much to reply to and i cant really be bothered.
you say give you corners, im doing a round of the northern irish rally championships the week before scooby shoot out, in a mk2 escort, so stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
as for distance, im coming from belfast, thats a boat (200 quid), somewhere to stay (??? quid) and fuel, who cares. So any of you southern fairies, dont give me that its too far crap.
As for the person who damaged his car last year, that was bob i think his name is, and im sure he is back, damn i even span out crossing the line just before bob, and im going back.
as for standard cars, its geared towards everything, thats what the brackets are for. i competed last year in a completely standard 02 sti
i just want to see a good turnout with loads of enthusiasts enjoying their cars.
oh and if you want bends, there is a handling track.
and just for nik52wrx --- gay gay gay gay gay gay gay

Now I have taken ALL my 4 scoobs on the Track and even had "The" Infamous crash at Castle Coombe although bad driver error I still do it.
I never critisize the Polishers, they think I'm mad and vice versa, everyone different.
I'd come but working and Id prefer a trackday not keen on drag strips a 4 hour drive there for something I'd probably not enjoy,
Have fun
Tony

You lot are all talk, you sit behind your computer talking about how fast your subaru is, how quick you drove this and that road, yet only 48 people have entered for scooby shoot out.
Incase you dont know what it is, there is loads about it here - ScoobyNet
I really cant beleive that there is even places left for it, you lot really do make me wonder how many of you actually only a subaru, or if you do own it, drive the bloody thing.
Get your fingers out of your dogs ***** and get entered!!!!

Scoobynet doesn't really seem the forum for competitive activities, try bigpower or the like, it's raison d'etre is for track days, nurburgring, sprinting, drifting, autotesting etc., all their members are active.

I suprised they have so many entants
For the entrance fee I can do 3 weekends worth of off-roading...
Or one week including food, petrol there, petrol back, petrol during, and jetwash. Then still have enough money left over for a couple of rounds in the pub afterwards.
Anyway, I'd rather take a shed on a trackday than fart about trying get some rice rocket to take 4bar of boost with blowing up just so one can out-drag some other laggy lice locket. Why not just get a wad of £20s and burn them?

I'd never stick a car I own on a track for a few reasons.
1) Insurance. It cost to much and not worth risking not having any.
2) I like my clutch the way it is.
3) Being quickest over 1/4 mile doesn't mean you can drive.
4) My ***** bigger than your's, so I've nothing to prove.
