Got 12 batteries for the radios today and 2 x 6 way chargers. Should be getting 12 radios tomorrow so all will be charged and ready
Obvioulsy we won't need all 12, so we will have a few spares.
Not long now and really looking forward to this.

To be honest mate it would suit me better if i could bring them with me on friday , Up to my neck in it @ the mo , Not had time to think about " Mencap " Or even start to get the car prepped

Yup, know the feeling well mate. Still finishing a few bits off on the car.
To bring both lots along with you on Friday is fine with us mate. Like i said i reckon the hotel will have an iron to give them the once over before we wear them with pride .

Forecast for rain on the Sunday though Pity, was looking forward to a repeat of the day at the seaside we did last time.

Well I have had a busy couple of days, while you boys have been playing with your toys. 
I have sent an email to the Halfway House with our food order for the evening meal @ 8.00pm on Friday night. And they (especially the young lad) are looking forward to our arrival.
I have got Barry's mounting plate all predrilled & hand countersunk
'Cos I am getting old & grey & my eyes aren't what they were I have upgraded my TomTom One to the new wide-screen TomTom One XL. The XL is pretty much the same to use as the One but has a much bigger 4.3" screen, more voices, more POIs including cameras and a thing called QuickGPSfix software which finds your location quicker.
I have wired it all up neatly round the dash so it is next to the Road Angel & when sat behind the wheel they are both within the line of sight of the bonnet scoop so don't obscure the road ahead.
And I have converted the old spare TomTom mount into a light weight camera mount for my little Ricoh Caplio R4.
Car pampering day tomorrow.

My GOD !!! I thought my car looked like the Starship Enterprise. Not much chance of us getting lost with that lot !!
Your camera mount looks good mate. I've got a light weight DV camera which i shall bring if you would like to use that.
Got the Nikon DLSR ready with the 75-300mm new lens to try out for some nice shots.
I guess we are still all meeting at Junc 30 / 31 (Thurrock Services). Once we get the kids off i would imagine we will be there around 0930 - 1000. Can someone PM me their mobile (TINY or Mark ?) in case there are any unforeseen problems.
I have 4 radios at the moment and collecting a few more tomorrow as there have been a few issues with frequencies. All 12 batteries are charged and have 2 x 6 way bank chargers to take with us .
Polished half the car today, doing the other half when i get in from work 2morrow.
