Elwyn,
Thanks for your reply. I am somewhat disappointed in your terms.
I was not asking if Emma has a boyfriend, that would have been slightly misconstruitive of me.
I mearly asked if she was worth a poke ?
I would be grateful if you could answer my original question.
Regards
Sti

Now the suggestion that 'Bevan' has had anything remotely resembling a relationship with a female that isn't his mother has utterly blown any probability that this of being anything other than a wind up.

I am afraid you have lost me again on this one. Bevan has been courting our Emma for 6 weeks now, he is a smashing lad, Emma thinks the world of him.
I am a bit concerned with the photos of them being posted on here though.
Try to keep it sensible lads, please.
Regards
Elwyn

Mr Enviromentalist,
Just to let you know, I am using biofuel, as you suggested, for my motoring which will offset any CO2 that I will produce on my journeys. I give thanks to organisations such as yours, the Government and fuel companies for encouraging everyone to use this fuel as a means to power our vehicles.
I also thank the growers of the crops that produces this fuel, who have chosen to grow this crop for fuel instead of for food and for chopping down rainforests and other natural vegetation to make way for increased production and demand for this greener fuel. I will also consider as my next car to be an electric car, which charges its inefficient, highly toxic, resource intensive manufactured and environmentally harmful batteries from nuclear/coal/gas fired power stations.
And even if it all goes to pot, be in no doubt that life on earth will still continue long after mankind has disappeared of the face of the Earth. Since even using my computer to communicate this is emmitting countless more CO2 into the atmosphere, I will sign off. Have a nice day. God will save us all and his holy creation that is Earth.

Funny but that postcode is for a remote farm. Never heard of a farm having a number instead of a name.

Your "Events" page does not appear to be working properly but it does mention a treasure hunt involving a 100 mile round trip and an entry fee of £10 per car, perhaps you would care to explain the apparent contradiction between this event and your earlier recommendation to limit private car use to 10 miles per week![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

Slightly concerned about the blanket 45mph speed limit proposal. How many more people will die owing to falling asleep at the wheel?

I like Bevan's idea that steam should be used to power cars, that boy has great wisdom.....what a great idea! For someone that proposes that we should not use our cars more than 10 miles a week, its right up there with your 100 mile round trip treasure hunt event!

What a croc of sh*t! Im a planning officer of 6 years and have been to countless conferences and training courses that push all this 'green' cr@p. I think its just that. Cr@p. Carbon my ***!!! Just a form of control and taxation. We all breath it out so presumably it won't be long before we get breathing tax in the interests of saving the planet.
The planet is well able to look after itself and our piddly little influence is probably neither here nor there. If it wants to heat up or cool down or blow up then there is probably nothing we can do about it. We must adapt to IT, not try to control it. In short, it global warming is going to flood your part of the world then move! This is just natural selection and only the stupid would remain and fight nature in the way that only an idiot would square his goes with a wild lion!
<rant over>
P.S. Decat scooby - get in
