Not long to go till Brighton now

Hi ya, brought a 2004 Sti Jap Import three weeks ago. I've carried out a few standard jobs (service, cambelt....) and have just had a full decat system fitted- sounds great and really finishes the car off. Would like to join you for the cruise to Brighton this Sunday. C u at Lakeside 10 sharp??? Durry.

Welcome

We will be leaving at 10am sharp from Lakeside, you can either cruise along the M25 real slow (45-50mph) and let us catch you, watch from a bridge then catch us up (BEWARE of this option. Baz69Birds got 3 points for doing this ) or liase with Baz who is also from Kent and meet with him first.

Do you have a walkie-talkie? we use these to talk to each other as we cruise. Makes things a lot easier...

As Wongy said, welcome on board mate We will be leaving at 10am sharp so try and get there earlier if you can.

Can you try and print off a route plan? it is not entirely straight forward getting onto devils dyke but great fun when we do manage it

If you've never been on a convoy before then there are a few golden rules....

1. We don't drive fast..... about 60 tops.

2. Stay in lane, indicate and wait till it is safe before changing.

There are exceptions to rule 1 but never rule 2.

You'll get into the swing of it quickly enough, don't worry.
