Its been suggested that we look into merging with Team Awsomeness. I think we at least should share some ideas and see if it would benefit both clubs? What does everyone think?

Thats my biggest problem...... the name!!! 
lol. To date, everyone I've told about the club has laughed and not been interested, purely down to the name of 'Team Awesomeness'. I doubt they'd change it now?

A name is a name. Basically two clubs after the same thing: i.e. a love and interest in Japanese performance cars. Not geeky just an interest in cars, getting together and socialising.
Personally I don't care about the name its the people that are willing to get together to go to the meets and shows etc, such as Andy, Rich, G@ndy and Rob etc that make it worth it.
Discussions need to take place; maybe an LJP forum within Team Awesomeness who knows but if we want to progress then I personally think a joint forum is the way ahead.
A couple of us have tried to get LJP off the ground but folks just don't seem interested. I send out regularly 20 pm's with reference to meets, shows, events and such like but I only get the usual 4 replys
. Its very frustrating being willing to put the effort in but you get little or no reaction 
.
The friends I have made in the last 3 years I cherish. Escaping the day to day dullness of life and getting together with LJP and friends is something I look forward too. Call it evolution, call it what you will but personally I think we need too branch out and explore all the avenues that are available to us.
Please don't see this as the end but as the begining of something better. We all want the same thing so lets make a proper go of it and put ourselves on the map as an friendly family car club. One person doesn't make a club, its the members who make it

Let your feelings be known folks. I want us to grow and to go forward and see this as an opportunity of doing so. LJP/Team Awesomeness I really don't care, whats in a name anyway?

Totally agree with you Mr Wolfie! Its a great time for both clubs...... I think we should set a deadline to decide whats going to be what. My worry is that the guys at TA wont want us having too much say in the running of a joint venture. If we did merge I'd insist on a structured club (chairman, securtary, treasurer, I.T., events manager & poss some creative leadership etc). Like Mr Peds said on Sunday, I'd also be happy to invest some of my own money into this if it was run correctly.

but like most know, it was mine and my wifes 1st time sun at the ljp meet and we both really enjoyed it! (well i think me abit more)
but robs woman giving counciling
any way why should the name matter so much,if people just like getting together and talking about there passion???
i for one will be attending most meets and helping where i can...
so whatever happens keep me informed please

Sorry mate. As you have already gathered, things are a bit strange at LJP at the mo....... but we will caryy on regardless!
When you say you have joined, I guess you mean Scoobynet? To join LJP you need to give me £5 and a picture of your car for your membership card. This gives you some discount at various places. We have a list available.

Craig, don't take anything that me, G@ndy, Andy, Wolfie and Mr Rich seriously, we have been mates through these club meets now for a good couple of years and this is how we talk to each other both on here and at meets
