ESC Annual Boat Trip




This year the Boat trip has come early

July 15th on a Sunday. From North Fambridge.

I have spoken to a friend of mine who says he will do us a very good deal

£400 all in for 12 hours fishing from 6am to 6pm, and if fishing is that good and we want to stay a little longer, he will charge only £20 per hour after that.

The price includes rod hire, bait, and refreshments.

The boat is a 31ft cat,that is very fast, that is 15ft wide and can hold 20 people.

We can only have 10 people as that is what his license is only allowed.

i have to put a £100 none refundable deposit by the weekend for the booking.

Please...... Only put your name down if you can definitely come.

I will require a deposit of £20 + £1 to cover paypals charges and to secure your place paid via paypal plz...as i will not be seeing anyone by saturday.

Paypal Account sales@pc-medic.net, and leave a message in the comment box who your are and what it is for

PS....... you will catch either Smooth hound, Skate, Bass etc.....

Alright peeps, sorry not been around much lately, but my fishing has taken front seat this year, with sum seriously big carp and cats graceing the bank for me!!! I'm so looking forward to this tho! I'll be meeting you all down there tho so untill the 15th. Tight lines!

Looking forward to this too.........

Never been sea fishing before, well at least till 2 weeks ago in the Dominican Republic where I caught a 6lb Baracuda and felt rather sick...... Lets hope we don't have a replay of that! (the sick bit i mean)

I also will be requiring some directions to the place or a postcode please!

The boat will set sail at 6am sharp, so we need to be there 5.45am at the latest, Please could those going in there scooby,s drive slowly as there are people living on the mariner on there boats. and keep the noise down, ie swearing etc as there are kids on the boats

We are meeting at the lodge for 5.30am the skipper will be there as well.

he told me today that on his boat last weekend there has been some very big catches

Been reading some very good fishing reports from the local boats that get out every week

Big Tope are in @ the mo ...



This 57lb Was caught last week on Eel section Of Bradwell

Big Bass are being caught of the bottom On Mackerel or Squid

The Smoothhounds should start arriving soon , Hermit crab will be the best bait for these

matt i had the same problem.....i asked rob the same question and he said thats the postcode they gave him

makeral, squid, hermits, and feathers possibly....

He said don't bother bringing worms, as they have tried them today with no joy....where he goes the above is great to use.

They have caught over 70 fish today

Its looking like me saying its going to be nice hasn't jinxed the day........

Anyone else want me to say anything to see if it will happen?

Oh and on a possibly stupid note...... how many people are meeting at the Lodge at 5.30?
And i'm taking it that its the Lodge in South Woodham Ferries or am i getting it all **** about face?
