There's a lot of chat in here, but very little action. It's like that moaning minny Bravotoowhinging, always willing to put ten times more effort into the bleating than the fix.

What do you intend to do about your abusive neighbours?

Why the sarcasm? (Let's hope that's what it is )

It's a reasonable question, is it not? You have a problem, now what are you going to do to fix it? Your readers demand to know!

I think we both know that the police can and will do nothing. So let's hear the contingency plan?...

Well, I'm afraid I can't help you that much, but I have to say that you should make them as uncomfortable as possible!

There is one point Little Ginge, I am pretty certain that is is offically illegal to park half on the pavement although in a contricted area they usually turn a blind eye to it. If it is against the law, you are giving the Arsewipes a lever against you.

Personally I think the only way to sort those sort of people out is a demonstration of greater power than them and the convoy sounds as good as any!

They sound like scumbags alright, so here you are:

a) Never show any sign of intimidation, NONE... as scumbags will prey on this and only make things worse.

b) Give like for like, they shout at you...you shout back, its the only language they understand.

c) They do ANYTHING physical to you or your property you call the police.

Thanks for the comments about parking little-ginge, glad to have that one straight in my mind now. I think that advice from DCI is as good as any. I feel really sorry that you have to put up with that sort of behaviour.

With regards to parking half on the kerb and half on the road, my understanding is that it is legal outside of London. However, some (if not all) London boroughs have a byelaw making it illegal. Looked into this when a friend who lives in London got ticketed for parking half on the kerb and half off.

Of course, by half on / half off, that does mean that it's one side that's on the kerb, not one end

Little-Ginge,

You mentioned he threatened to get your landlord involved. I take it from this your family rent the property?
If so, it would be much easier for you to relocate. I would just move on as your parents health is worth a lot more.

Parking half on the pavement is not illegal.
But driving on the pavement is.

So when you park on the pavement - you have to briefly drive onto it.
Technically that is what you can be done for.

But as people say - as long as you are not causing an obstruction etc etc - a blind eye is turned.

hope this helps

C/Support officers attended again yesterday, when I spotted Mr ****-Wipe yet again taking photos - this time of me getting out of my vehicle..

Saturday he took photos of my other half washing his Scoob

He has admitted next door it was a one of incident which angered him - as his tart - sorry lady friend, can't reverse her car, he felt that my vehicle is impeeding her access..

To try and stop things from becoming completely out of hand, I have agreed to the POlices suggestion that I park in excatly the same way I have done but on the opposite side of the road ( half on the green half off)...

only I noticed last night, this is going to restrict the sweep in which they can reverse into their drive from the right hand side... oh well - I'm only doing as he has asked, and as the police have said is ok...he'll soon be whinging again

we will wait and see.. he has been warned about the abuse, and entering our property, and they went and saw him again yesterday about the photo taking.. I am to phone them immediately if I catch him again...

Skoobidude - we have been here 15 years with minimal no probs - which everyone suffers at some point; normally a lovely residential area.. don't think moving is the way forward - dont see why we should give in to him to that degree but thanks for your comments.

If he persists I just may have to pop round and 'educate' him and said tart in the art of banging their heads together
