Personally Jamie's joke was a tasteless comment BUT not worth the ott replies on here tbh. I've seen alot more sick stuff said about other animals in jest. He knows what he's put and admitted he hates animal cruelty like rest of us etc.

On the subject of people doing that stuff I also come from a family who own horses-for pleasure AND not drinking sherry on a sunday afternoon with fellow toffs and offpspring to rampage round a few fields on a 'jolly'. Wealease the hounds Winthrop!

People that do this need finding and either given to the animal lib. for experimentation or a bullet to the head. It really shows how rotten society is coming if yobs are doing this. Tougher laws and death penalty to save us all from subhuman scum. Minority report might not be A FANTASY.

My first reaction on reading this was what severe and bloody retribution would be appropriate.

However, we are supposed to live in a civilised society, so punishing them in the same way that they treated the horse, brings us down to their level.

I would therefore propose dressing the perpetrators in US Army uniforms and dropping them off in Insurgent Central, Baghdad with their hands tied behind their backs.

Dreadful by any decent person's standards. Reminds me of Rannoch's cattle and dolphin slaughtering videos, Christ that was one othe worst things i've ever seen, albeit not from this country, thankfully. It saddens me to the core that humans are able to inflict this sort of gratuitous torture, moreso when it's against defenseless animals.

A truly shameful episode. I only hope they manage to catch those responsible for such dreadful actions. If it was up to me I would be inclined to change the shape of their faces permanently.
