I'm afraid we only use the report ourselves and because of the modifications needed we only test cars locally.
Gussy hows the Power upgrade going?

Ian im well impressed with it a bit strange to begin with cos I am finding it easier to hold it in gear now without having to grab for another gear then seconds later having to go down again it has opened up the midrange and top end.a good bit off kit quite a few peeps have been in touch with me about it via pm's just looking forward now to the scooby shootout.

Yeah, in about 12-18 months time when they become more readily available. They aren't just sitting around waiting to be bought. One was seen at auction not long ago (which is very rare being so soon after all the new examples were sold) and it went for well over list price.

Read Iain's post.
It says that cars manufactured after 1st Jan '06 need a EuroIV report. An RA-R was clearly made after this date so requires that report. If he's the only person to have a EuroIV report and won't loan it out that basically means that your stuffed. Unless you register the car in a dodgy way.

How do you know he is the only one?
You can have a modelreport and to your own discretion ask vosa not to list it.
And why would it be dodgy?
You seem to pass judgement with out knowing all the fact's.
Any way back on top...i think it's a good deal mate and you should go for it.

Gaz I would imagine the cars either come via ian or from the firm in southampton if you read post 27 this only covers the special editions and the 2006+ cars not the ones befor so anybody with an 05 would be ok I figure.

Gaz, most people use a company in Southampton and their EuroIII report for cars upto the end of 2005 which does not require much in the way of modifications. Cars that are over 10years old don't need a SVA.
Cars manufactured after 1st-Jan-06 need a EuroIV report of which there is only one.

Here it is (from Evo Mag website):
"Apparently there are some in Japan who consider the WRX STi spec C (the hottest domestic WRX) a touch too hardcore. The team at STi has thus devised this limited-edition special [Type RA] with variable-rate suspension and more habitable interior to make day-to-day driving more 'comfortable'".

Maybe they're confusing it with an S204?
After all, it was the Type RA that set the record around the ring, not a standard Spec C.

I would have to agree there, but then again your car is far from standard. No creature comforts!
